KillDani Dead

Scene hair, is BIG and BOLD. It's obnactious and totally rad.
One of the first steps to scene hair is the color. You should first either choose if you want your hair to be dark or light. But even if your hair is going to be dark, don't be afraid to throw in a strand of an exotic color. If your hair is going to be light, do it all an exotic color. Blue, purple, red, pink, you get the picture. Add someextentions if you don't think your hair is long enough. LONG HAIR is very scene. Coontails, cheetah print, zebra stripes, you get the picture.
TEASE your hair. You can look online on instructions and tutorials on Youtube on how to tease it. Basically, you grab a strand of hair and spray it with strong holding hair spray. Tak a comb and brush it towards your scalp. It's like a backwards brushing type thing. Do it to all of your hair until you feel that it's big enough. To get the hairspray to dry and a little extra volume, put your head up-side down and use a hair dryer on it. Do this for about a minute and when you're done, brush your hair down a bitt to make it look not so sloppy and messy.
To get the tease out of your hair, DO NOT BRUSH IT DOWN. This will pretty much rip your hair out. Just take a shower and first use conditioner, then shampoo, then conditioner again. It will take the knots out and it won't cause so much damage to your hair. Shower EVERY DAY if you're going to do your hair like this everyday. Leaving hairspray in your hair like that can clog your scalp and it will make your hair grow alot more slowly that it should.
Accessorization is a huge key to hair. Use flowers, clips, bows, ect. in your hair and put it in the crease in your hair. Follow these steps and bammer, you've got yourself a very scene hair style my friend. Be obnactious with it. CREATIVITY IS THE KEY.

Hey:D I am going to tell you how to make a simple Kandi Bracelet ^-^ (It's super easy xD)

Materials:

-Pony beads (i bought mine from michaels)
-Stretchy string :D (I got Stretch Magic in clear, 25 meters)
-Scissors

Steps:

1. First, pick the colors that you want and create a pattern that you would like.
2. Put the beads on the string in the pattern that you created.
3. Make sure BEFORE you cut the string that the bracelet is the right size that you want it to be. (Brint both sides of the string together like it's tied and put it around your wrist, but be careful not to drop it, you don't want your beads to fly everywhere :O)
4. Cut the string with your scissors with plenty of room to tie a knot.
5. Tie your knot. (Make sure to make it super tight so your bracelet doesn't randomly explode O.o)
6. And voila :D You have a new, one of a kind (to an extent:3) bracelet!

Enjoy ^______________^

1. Lay one wrapper down on a table so that it is long but not tall, with the blank side facing up!!(:

2. Fold the wrapper in half so that the bottom corners touch the top ones.. Do that twicee(:

3. The color side of the wrapper should be visible by the wayy:)

4. Fold it in half horizontally then open it up againn:)

5. Fold it so that the outer edges are touching the crease{:

6. Fold it in half once again :P

7. Once you have made more of these you gotta connect them((:

8. Take the 2 ends of one of the wrappers and insert it into the 2 ends of another wrapper and continue thiss AND IT WILL EVENTUALLY MAKE A chain(:

How to have the "scene style" clothing.

There is no exact way to be Scene. Scene is unique, right?
So, I'd just say,
Have the craziest, most out-there style that you can think of. Of course you'll be able to pull it off because it's your own.
My style is:
Light makeup.
Sometimes an eyeliner-drawn nose and whiskers as so in the proof I provided.
I always or almost always wear an "I I wear skinny jeans only. Sometimes shorts. I like skinny jeans because they fit well unlike just the plain lose jeans. I think the lose jeans and shirts are sort of ugly. Except for tutu's. I love tutu's, even thought I don't own one.
I always like to wear shirts. (shocker?)
San Diego State Tee's, band-tee's, and just plain random shirts. Also my little leather vest. Ed Hardy White Tiger High-tops, random flats, boots, ect...
I actually don't tease my hair. Rarely I do. I just don't like how it makes my hair feel all sticky and like concrete! :P
I lovee belts. I have a rainbow studded belt and a silver studded belt.
That's all about my style. :3
I think the personality and uniqueness counts. Just that

#5 simple steps To Pierce your own lip#

1) Use the appropriate equipment. Mainly the proper piercing needle. professional needles or sewing needles can be used but clean the tools properly.

2)Clean your needle. This is a very important part. You don't know where any of these needles have been. If you have a packaged pro needle, then it has probably already been safely cleaned in an autoclave, so no worries. (Boiling the needle in water for no less than 10 minutes can work as a cleaning method, if you're using a sewing needle.)
Be sure to clean your jewelery properly, too. Though some caution was probably taken in manufacturing it, you can never be too careful!

3)Prepare to pierce your lip: Dry your inner lip with a dry tissue or cloth so you don't slobber all over your piercing hand. First mark where you want to pierce so you know were to put the needle. Then make sure the area you're in is very clean; not sitting at some grungy bathroom sink. Have your supplies ready, laid out on a clean tissue. Don't get any unnecessary germs on them.

4)Start from the inside of the lip: Going through muscle tissue on the inside of your mouth is a lot easier than getting through the skin first and then going through the muscle layer. If you pierce it from the outside, it'll hurt more, as your epidermis will feel it, and it doesn't hurt quite as much from the inside, but is a bit more difficult, to be honest. Hold the area you're ready to pierce, and push through the first layer of muscle with your needle, and make sure you get halfway through your lip on the first push, that way you should be through the muscle layer on the inside and only have to do the skin on the outside, which is easier. Again, be sure this is where you want to pierce, and have it ready at a good angle. Instead of forcing the needle through, push your lip into the needle. This will reduce the pain, and will make the whole process go smoother. Another way is to put your finger behind your lip, where the needle will come out, and push, while pushing in the needle at the same time. The pressure will keep you from feeling as much pain, and will make it thinner and easier to pierce through. Also a good reason to have a clamp not only for good grip is to reduce pain and make it easier for you to pierce.

5) Be sure to clean it well, and don't take the jewelery out early unless you absolutely need to (i.e. your parents force you, your job makes you, school makes you. Don't take it out just because. That's the easiest way to get an infection. A good, effective and easy way to keep your piercing healing properly is saline solution. This is simply 8 oz. distilled water with about 1/4 tsp. of non-iodized sea salt. Use the LITHA (leave it the hey alone) method during the day - do not touch the piercing unless you are cleaning it. Using alcohol-free mouthwash and avoiding spicy foods will help the healing. Let it totally heal on its own time. Some take longer than others.

1) Take your 12-inch strip of ribbon and fold the ribbon back three inches from one end. Fold the ribbon back three inches from the last fold. Fold the ribbon forward three inches from the second fold. Finally fold the ribbon back three inches from the third fold. You want the ribbon to slightly overlap with each fold.

2) Pinch the ribbon in the center. You might have to attempt the pinch a few times before you get a good shape for your bow. You want the loops of the bow to be full and the front of the ribbon to show, not the inside of the loops.

3) Wrap a five-inch length of craft wire around the center of the bow to hold it together. Twist the ends of the wire together once most of the length of the wire is wrapped around the bow.

4) Trim the ends of the wire close to the wire so they don't show in the front of the bow.

5) Wrap a two-inch strip of one-quarter-inch wide ribbon around the center of the bow to cover the wire. Use super glue to hold the ribbon around the center of the bow.

6) Apply a thin strip of super glue the bow to the top of the blank alligator clip and attach the ribbon to the surface.

Why You Shouldn't Care What People Think

Many people like us feel self-conscious. I used to be too but my friend helped me get over it. I just felt like posting a list of reasons why other people's opinions are stupid.

1. They're not you, the way you dress is nobody's business.
2. If they base their opinions on how you dress and not how you act, then they're jerks and don't deserve to know you.
3. Trying to fit in makes you miserable, and I'd rather stop pretending to be something I'm not and just have fun with life.
4. Do what you love, and love what you do. If you don't love the way you dress then it's ok to change.
5. Some people are afraid of change. They've got to understand that we change every day. If we didn't we'd have nothing to entertain us.
6. It's your business. Not theirs.

I hope it helped even a little. ^.^
Love who you are and enjoy life while you can.

How To: Cut your own Scene Hair

When you go to the hair salon and you say, "I want scene/emo hair" They're not gonna know what your talking about. And then when you ask if they can give you side swept bangs, they give you these wierd flippy bangs that don't ever go where you want to go. (Trust me, it's happened to me before.) So basically, your only option is to do it yourself. In three steps, I can show you how to have the perfect style for SceneQueens.com
NOTE: I SUGGEST PARENTAL CONSENT BEFORE DOING THE FOLLOWING STEPS.

Step 1: Base of Hair.

You want to start with the whole mass of your hair, excluding bangs. I suggest you use regular scissors found in your home, or something else sharp enough for cutting hair.(Please try and refrain yourself from using steak knives.) If you have long hair, you want the shortest layer to end at the bottom of your earlobe. Then you just cut the hair at about 1-inch distances. Once you've finished that, you should have the perfect hair for teasing. (Yes, they usually tease their hair to make it poofy like that, so don't worry if it doesn't look like that.)

Step 2: Bangs

Now you're gonna work on your bangs. There are a few different ways of cutting and shaping your bangs. For example: If you want your bangs to be on the Left or the right side, if you want your bangs to cover an eye, or if you want them to sweep across your forehead, ect.

You want to make sure your bangs are cooperative; if not, this won't be easy.
You cut your bangs as if they're like a staircase. You start on one side and make them around the same length as the top of your eye, and then slowly work your way down making each strand a little bit longer. If you want it longer or shorter than that, just change the length of the shortest strand. (Just make sure its not stubble) And then you would have the perfect hair for teasing, picture taking, and other necessities(:

Step 3: Finish the look

Straighten and style your hair with some hairspray (and some gel, if you want) and you've got yourself the perfect scene look!

The Supplies you would need:
Razor Comb: (Can probably be found in most hair salons; if not online)
Regular comb
Hair Straightener
Scissors (As a substitute for the razor comb.)

How to put back comb your hair.

Instructions

Things You will need
A small comb or A teasing brush
Good holding hair spray, but I prefer got2be extreme hold.

1: Separate a strand of hair about 1 to 2 inches wide at the crown of the head, and comb it to make sure it is smooth and has know knotts or tangles.

2: Comb the section straight up and then forward to about a 145-degree angle. Hold it while you brush it up.

3: Use the comb or teasing brush to back-comb the hair near the root area. Comb down 3 to 4 inches lightly and quickly, about three or four times. This will help lift your hair and won't damage your hair as much.

4: Spray the back-combed section of your hair with hair spray. Let it fall forward then leave it for now. Continue to section and back-comb the hair until the entire area is combed.

5: Flip the hair back and brush the top of the hair into place very carefully soo you don't mess it up. Use your hand gently to lift the back-combed area.

6: Spray all your hair to help keep it in place soo you can rock the style all day and night. :)
