Ever been known as the eMo, gOtH, or sCeNe kid? i am sure alot of you have. But is what most people don't understand is that being sCeNe isn't what they think it is. In fact half the people dont know the difference between gOtH, eMo, and sCene! Being sCeNe means more than wearing make-up, having crazy hair as it's referred to from some people. When your sCeNe most of the time your a calm person, who doesn't really care about what others have to say about you. When your a true "sCeNe" your a proud outcast, which in my personal opinion is something hardly anybody can do. Even though there are always hater's, those are actually the people who wish they could be you.
Being scene, it's not the way you dress, or the way you act, its a way of expression, that we all have a right to express. Never let anyone get to you because your choice is the right choice. Keep your head high, because you are original, you are you. Be proud of that.

I completely disagree. i think scene kids are just more creative than the average joe. we just want to express ourselves in a different way that other people. we look at things in a unique way. for example facial piercings, non scene kids might think a septum is ugly or the indication of a bull but scene kids look at it a visual art a piece of creativity. something different. we like to break away from "society's" image of what a teens should look, act, dress, or talk like. scene kids are what makes life interesting, without us we'd have just the same cookie cutter kids with no unique style or personality.

i like to dress with black and a popping color i love funny shirts or band shirts and i love cut offs and skinny jeans and i love my bracelets and necklaces. i usually put black eyeliner on with a bright eyeliner under it like purple or white or blue or green-any eye popping color i lovee sparkles and i always put that on my eyes,i also like useing a light pink lipgloss or just lip balm and i usually just straighten my hair or let it have its natural flips and curls with a few bows.
Before I would of thought that you had to wear a lot of makeup, have lots piercings and be this really perfect random person. Have really big hair and wear some weird things. Right now? I think it's people who are embracing there self and there flaws and I want to be one. I'm starting slow though. I wear what I want now, not what people want me to wear. When people give me weird looks, I held my head high and didn't give a crap what they said. Today I wore my Winnie The Pooh pj and my hair in pigtails. In my head? I thought it was pjama day. Most people look at scene kids and this Omg' they look emo, they're going to be all depressed like, so lets not talk to them; but most scene kids are actually really nice! people just think of a stereotype, and think they're going to be a mean person. Some of these people back down from being different, and then there are those who are proud to be the way they are.

1. Put top/middle sections of your hair in a pony tail then Pin up bangs so they don't get in your face.
2. Take a hair brush/comb and tease the top of your hair, by the scalp. Move the hair brush as if you were brushing your hair the opposite direction.
3. Spray with hair spray, and brush over the whole thing lightly.
4. Take your hair out of the ponytail and take a little bit of more hair out.(Repeat teasing. Do this until you get all your hair teased.)
5. Take bangs out of the pin; straighten your hair downward or to the side. Spray with hair spray.
6. Brush the whole thing over lightly.

Wanting to be scene. Okay so a lot of girls want to be "Scene Queens" and want to be the girl that everybody fakes, like the new Katie Baby-face. But honestly, its not just about being popular, its about being yourself. Standing out in the your own little place. So don't try to being just another copy of anyone. To Begin, You need to make sure that you have your own style, so pick up a few things here and there, as you go along. Hot topic may be the place to start, but don't want to end up a clone. Next is the hair, As you may see on alot of girls, Layerd and Teased is the way to go, but colors, and all that are all your choice. You can go with the Classic Black, or You can go Bleach blonde. those are the two color's you see most. But any color is fine. From Blue, to Red, to Orange, to Purple! Now with the length, it can be cropped short, or long and full. and dont worry, if you're hair is to short, and you wish it was long, just run down to the mall, and buy yourself some extentions. I personally use the ones made of Horse Hair, to make my hair look longer. You must make sure that they blend in with your hair color. or it will look fake and tacky. But i use Ones made of plastic for my highlights, you can buy them at hottopic for about 6 dollors. Coontails usually go good with Bleach Blondes. And now that you know you're Hair and Style.
