~How to Tease your hair~
Things you need:
A blow-dryer, a flatiron, heat protection spray, a comb or brush, and hairspray
This only takes about 10 to 15 minutes, depending on how big you want your hair.
1. After washing your hair, blow dry your hair UPSIDE DOWN, this will give you more volume.
2. Spray heat protection evenly in your hair to prevent from burning or frying your hair.
3. Straighten your hair with a flatiron.
4. Grab the top layers of your hair, and with a brush or comb, move the brush back and forth to get the "tease" look.
5.Use hairspray and spray your roots or where you teased your hair.
6. Do this with the top layers of your hair until you are pleased with how it looks.

How to Have a 'Scene' Photoshoot!
1. Get plenty of props/accessories/clothing articles!
You can do this by either going through your closet, your mom's, your attic, basement, etc. Or MY favorite option- going to the thrift store! You can find so many unique things at thrift stores, and usually less than five dollars a pop!
2. Get your camera/tripod/background ready (or if you're holding it outside, make sure that it's a nice day).
Pin up your background using thumb-tacs, you can use any print or colour you want! My favorites are zebra print and black, if your having the shoot outside, pick a nice, sunny place that's easy on the eyes. That way, your pictures will look better, and you'll have to do less editing!
3. Makeup/Hair!
This is a very crucial part in holding a photoshoot of any kind, make sure you have the essentials (eyeliner, powder, foundation, concealer, mascara, lipgloss, lipstick, etc). It will depend on what theme of photoshoot you're having, BUT in this case, we're having a 'scene' photoshoot, right? So either heavy black eye makeup and nude lips, colourful eyes and a nude lip, or even a combination of both! Style your hair any way you want, curly, straight, colourful extensions. Your choice!
4. Have a BLAST!
If you're the photographer, and makeup artist, and hair stylist, and clothing stylist and you're being a total control freak- it isn't fun for ANYONE. Not even you, unless you like being a control freak but I don't think many people do, assign different jobs to different people. Each person has their own unique style and will make the clothes/ hair/ makeup seem more vibrant! Rather than having everything match.
5. Go home and post the pictures to SceneQueens.com!
The title says it all, lovies! :)

How to put fake eyelashes on.!
First Step: go to you’re local store and find the beauty department.
Second step: look around until you find the “false eyelashes”.
Third step: find the one you like the most and buy them.
Fourth Step: once you’re home take them out of the package because its time to measure.!
Fifth step: *don’t use glue.!* Put them up to your eyelashes (as close to you’re natural lash line as you can get) and cut off any access lashes (line them up so they go a little bit past your natural eyelashes).
Sixth step: you can put the eyelashes on before or after you do all of your makeup either way this step is the same, take the lash adhesive that came with the package and put a thin layer on the false eyelashes
Seventh step: wait about 15-25 seconds to let the adhesive get “tacky”.
Eighth step: put the false eyelashes as close to your natural lash line as possible and let them dry the rest of the way.
Ninth step: put mascara from your normal lashes all the way to the tip of the fake lashes so they blend and look natural.
After having fun with your friends its time to take the false eyelashes off.!
First step: put luke warm water on the finger and run it along the base of the fake eyelashes multiple times.
Second step: gently pull on the lashes to get them off.
Third step: run them under water to get as much as the mascara off.
Fourth step: dry them off and set them on a dry surface to use them again.
And taadaa.! You’ve used false eyelashes that you can use over and over again.! Hope this helped.

Being a scene girl isn't about being in a certain group, its about expressing out color cause that's how our personality is, super colorful. So don't be afraid to be a scene girl. 1. HAIR,- Get it cut,go for side bangs, uneven layers, thinned if not, style it by straightning, put extensions for longer hair, bright extensions look good aswell, then just teasing it at the top(backcombing up,down) then spray with hairspray. Decorate with a cute bow if you want..
2. MAKE UP, - Go wild. Use foundation for a flawless look,on your lips aswell. Blusher is sexy, preferably not to noticeable. Use jetblack eyeliner to line your eyelids top and bottom, wear mascara, false eyelashes if you want(i love them), and possibly eyeshadow in shades of grey, silver, black, anything really.
3. CLOTHES, - simple simple. Black skinny jeans or bright ones ie.purple(theyre cute) or even leapord prints. Be unique with clothes. Go for printed t shirts with random words on like ''peace'',hellokitty, pokemon, miffy, and soo on. Wear flats, pumps, converses, vans, ballet shoes...up to you.
The whole idea of scene is like standing out. Mix and match be yourself. Dont go too far otherwise people might think weird of you.

Lots of people mistake scenes for emo kids. which scene kids hate! theres actually a huge difference. emo's are usually depressed alot and are always quiet.scene kids are always happy and energetic and very bubbly. people probably confuse the two groups becuz of the makeup. scene girls and emo girls tend to wear lots of eyeliner. but other then that their styles r very diff. scenes wear bright flashy clothes and love to make a s.c.e.n.e. but emo's try to wear black and blend in wit the crowd so they dont get noticed, which is very opposite of scenes. also scenes dont cut them selves or try to hurt each other for any reason.Scene kids dont cut they love more then hate...

Purchase a weft of hair
Cut the weft of hair into the lengths that you need for the clip-on hair extensions. Extensions typically range from one inch up to eight inches thick. Some people prefer to double up the thickness of their hair extensions by cutting a weft twice as long as needed and then sewing it together across the top for thicker extensions before applying the clip.
Press the flat (not prong) side of the clip against the hair weft. Line the top of the clip in extension with the top of the hair weft (a small material strip on the top). Securely hand sew the hair extension clip onto the weft of hair using a needle and thread.
Comb out the finished hair extension gently and store in a case, envelope, or box that allows the clip-on hair extensions to either remain flat or maintain the desired shape or put them in (:

*How to PROPERLY do and treat a home peircing*
hello:3 my name would be Erin=)and i love doing hair/makeup/peircings.and those are all special and unique things that make up the differnet types of scene girls there are:)they are unique, bold and express who you are inside. But when it comes to peircings,if your scared to get it done, dont feel like throwing away 50$,or yur just plain cheap(or just want the experience to say you did it yourelf!)theres a proper way of doing it yourself. right at home!using the specific istructions on how to do it.(because i took my time>.>). getting a peircing isnt a qualification on being a scene queen, but again, its just a way of expressing.. and looking super Epic
you will Defenently need:
~a needle~(obviously)
but an actual needle, a thick long one:3(Lol..
using things like small safety pins, and tacks(yes, people have tried..)will not work. and only make the hole too small, itll close up by the time you put the stud in!
~something hard to make a straight hole~(apple, celery, styrophome, something that wont get it infected or sting!
~ice~
for begginers i recomend ice, it helps!
~alchohol~
~mouthwash~
~a lighter~
~soap&water~
~tongs~(if with a friend
if you have all this, your set.
Step..
1:mouthwash and soap, you need to wash the inside and out of your mouth.itll help prevent infection, and if the mouthwash is strong enough, itll help numb the lip.(axe, listerine, ect;)wash mouth out with mouthwash(30sec-1min).then wash the outside area of your peircing, with soap and water.
2:ice: unless your well at taking pain, use ice!at least 5-10 minuets.(wrap in paper towel or cloth to avoid finger freeze!
3:BURN AND CLEANSE NEEDLE AND STUD,youll need to light your stuff first,to kill bacteria.then wait a minuet(to avoid a fire) and cleanse with alchohol,to kill germs.THIS IS A NECCASARY STEP. millions of germs live on just the point of a needle.
4:place hard object on top the area your peircing.using this will hep make a straight hole.place the needle carefully upward(or downward depending on which lip)
through the inside of your mouth.if with a friend, have them pull out you lip with tongs,if not it should work either way)
5:Quickly peirce the area
6:hold the needle in for 2-3 mins,so it wont close up.
take out needle and place in STERILIZED STUD through.just start off with a stud(1 1/8) only, a earing, ring, some random object, will only lead to infection,or imporper healing.USE A STUD
8:clean blood and icky ooze with a ear swab.after a minuet or so,rinse mouth again with mouthwash.
9:be happy,you officially look awesome:]
tips:
*when eating and drinking,be sure you rinse with a light but effective mouthwash immediately or soon after.itll help keep bacteria away, because you did it yourself, its sensative.
*avoid alot of milk or too hot beverages
*DONT TOUCH IT.your finger has millions of germs.
if you accedently do,just wash it with soap&water
*DONT use alchohol to clean the peircing.it was only used in the beggining to sterilizeyour stuff.alchohol will cause itching, irritation, and flaking.use soap&hot water.
*continue to clean ooze with cotton so it wont get yucky:p
use all these steps and your peircing should be fine and healed in 2-4 weeks=](depending on how fast you heal)
these are actually some real tips from a peircer that i visit. ive done most of my own pericings, and all but one went great!:] if it goes right,do as many as you please:]
Enjoy!=D

how to dye Coontails into your hair
- Buy a bleach/colour to apply to the hair
(buy bleach if you have darker hair)

(it all depends on the width of your desired coontail)
- Mark all of this out with masking tape so that you dont get any die on your normal hair
(The hair that you dont want to be dyed )
- At this point - if you have dark hair apply bleach and wait around 20mins to 1hr depending on the darkness of your hair (you should be using gloves for this)
- After applience wash out and dry , re-apply the masking tape to the non bleached hair.
- Once you have either compleated bleaching or are ready to apply the dye , mix developer with your die contents and apply to the hair not covered by tape . (still wearing gloves)
- Once you have applyed a good amount to the hair , cover in foli and wait for another 30mins.

Scene Hair - it's a piece of art, we have to say! Great, unique and it looks different every time. But how to create it, and most important - keep it? It's a bit time consuming, but with few tricks up your sleeve your hair will look Scene in no time :)
First - for your hair to look Scene, the top layers need to be chopped - you can do it yourself or ask at the hair salon for short choppy hair. You will need to tease them by the roots for the uplifted effect, and spray the teased part with a hairspray. Now the bottom layers will need to be longer, thinner, with colourfull streaks (very optional) and most important - they need to be as straight as your BF. To get this effect you can use the hair straightener (first spray your hair with heat-defence spray) and put some wax on the ends. Second option is to clip some hair extensions in, it gives you great choice of styles / colors / looks. I personally opt for the first option, as hair extensions can easily weaken your hair - so can't recommend it myself. But it's a great and fast fix for night out or special occassion.

how to do/make scene hair
tip: YOU CAN DO IT UR SELF
1 to make layers use hair siccors and a point end comb and
just do about 1 0r 2 courters for first layer than go on
2wash and dry hair like 10 or 5 mins after and then straighten all of hair and then see if layers r fine
3only tease hair when you cant have seen hair teasing not required (teasing and to much straightening will damage ur hair
4if your not good at cutting and stuff go to a beauty pardlor(hair)
5so after wash and dry then straightened hair your hair should be poofy some times i have to straighten my layers up to make them more scene
6i wash my hair with main and tail soap condition and shampoo it make my hair soft and not looking fried
7message or send a try it pic of you with scene hair to a scene queen and see what she thinks of ur hair
8after these intructions she should say wonderful or something
9keep this process and trim your layers ocassionly
10Always be prepared for all the surprises
