To tell you something about how I interprete this scene may be similiar to some people. It usually involves printed animal and checkers.
I consider it lame to still wear printed checker hoodies. I feel it's childish, but I must indure it because thats all I have.
Flats and boots is all i wear, maybe some converse but shoes are a discomfort. They seem to be heavy which makes the walikng a little bit slower. Heavy in the feet is painful to the skinny people.

The life of an Ohio Scene Girl.
Growing up was hard for me. All I wanted was to fit in. Nobody really liked me. I had a hard time learning and I had buck teeth. I was made fun of and barely had any friends. Once I got my braces I was sure things was going to get better but it just got worse. By the time I was in 7th grade I knew what I had to do. I cut my hair, put on and didn't care what people thought. I came to school the next day and everyone stared at me. People asked me what happened to me. All I thought was that this was the first time this person ever talked to me. Soon every one was talking to me. I was the only girl in my grade who looked different and I liked it. Once everyone stopped staring at me I gained confidence but it didn't last long until I started getting haters. A black girl came up to me and told me to shut up. I looked at her like she was crazy because I wasn't talking and she sounded so demanding. I opened my mouth to say something and she said "Uhh No I just told you to shut up can you not here." And pointed at her ear. Her friend came up from behind her and laugh. I just looked at them like they where stupid. The girl looked at me and said "Don't look at me like that." So I got up and said "Look I don't know who you are but you better back off!!!" She smacked me in my face. I was trying to be nice but she smacked me again. When she went to smack me the third time I grabbed her hand and twisted it. Her friend came up and said "Oh no you do not touch her like that. do it again and I'ma beat your ass." I walked away from them. After that noone really had a problem with me. More girls started dressing like me but soon I moved and now I'm the only girl in my grade that's Scene. I'm getting used to it know and I only have one hater so far but she just tells everyone that I flirt with the gym teacher but she's not that much a problem yet.

The scene style is really a unique style. Of colors,(mostly neon) or bright. To be scene,you have got to NOT worry what anyone thinks of you..keep telling yourself that it doesnt matter.Not at all. You are not put on this earth to please them. Also...most scene's have a really bubbly peronality. Like...one of my favorites "Ledamonsterbunny" bubbly...but also random. but dont be to random..we dont want people to think your a poser or ""annoying"" Also,if your gonna be scene,than except angry glares and name calling..but try to just shrug it off. They are just doing that to you because they are jealous.... so..i hope this helps. :)

Scene kids are random, funny, awesome, role model-ish, friendly.I know I'm not the prettiest or skinniest but I won't let that stop me! :D I had admire the scene for a while the girls with crazy hair and always grinning. They don't give a crap about what people think and it inspires me, not to be a apart of the crowd. It inspires me to think outside of the box and go farther then normal circumstances. I look up to some and a few people admire them to. I had a thought like "Hey that Netty's cool I wanna be like her!" and it made me want to join.
