People say scenes are attention-thirsty. They aren't. They are just unique, and aren't afraid to venture out of the status quo. Some scenes are made fun of in their schools for being so different, and try to change because of this. People should be allowed to be who they are. Let your true personality shine! Also, some people try to be scene just because they think it's cool, or because their friends are scene. They shouldn't do this if it doesn't fit them. The thing is, just be yourself and be different!

Hmm....well for starters no matter what someone will always brong you down. No matter who you are with or what streotype you are there will always be someone who is going to look down at you. Just be yourself thats one thing I can say. I live in a town where there maybe 3 or 4 people who are scene. I have gotten dirty looks and insulted by alot and no matter what i still dress the way i dress. I think you should be yourself and be different thats better then being like everyone else.

Well i don't think ive ever wrote an article before, but i guess i'll give it a try then! :]. Let's start with the basics;

Scene name: Brogan Bites

Real name: Brogan Ireson-Smith.

I have a couple of middle names too, but i don't like to use them because it makes my name ridiculously long. :O. But if you really get curious, then find a way to contact me :D.

Age: 17.

Hair Colour: Jet black.

Eye Colour: Blue. :3.

My eyes are my favourite.and only part of my body that i really like. I believe that the eyes are a window into everyone's soul. I'm not religious or anything, But i'm just very emotional. I love reading people's feelings threw their eyes. <3

I have some really big issues with myself really. I have so many problems and they've left alot of scars on me and my mind. My life is only just starting to turn itself around really :D.

Boyfriend?: Nope. :P

Fiancee?: Yes! :D

I'm engaged. I know what people will automaticly think of that since i'm so young, but it's my life right? I'm a hopless romantic and i always have been. I melt under the mere thought's of love. And i've never once loved anything as much as i love my Jamie. <3

I don't really want to drag this on for too long so i'll stop with it now. Anything else, just contact me, i'd be happy to have a natter with anyone ^^. Call me a scene kid or anything else if you like. But at the end of the day, i'm me :D.

Scene girls are girls who are confident with themselves. They stand out in the crowd. To me it's not about how much makeup you wear or how big your hair is. It's all about who you are. People might make fun of you but why should you care what they think. You are yourselfs and you are differnet than any scene girl that is on this website and out there in the world. Love the way you look even if you don't think your pretty enough to be like a model or somebody else. Enjoy your life and don't go a day without loving the world and yourself. This is what a scene girl is to me. :)

No matter where you are, people will criticize you. There will always be someone who doesn't like you; it's impossible to please everyone. You need to learn to embrace your flaws. It's important to know who you are and know what you want. Remember, most people hate because they're jealous or hating makes them feel powerful. Stand out to be confident. Don't ever become scene just to please your peers. Also if you are going to be a scene kid in a place where they are extremely rare, be prepared for the many angry glares and discrimination you will get from other people. However, be careful not to become overconfident. Nobody wants to interact with someone who puts them down or acts like a jerk, but don't let people walk all over you either. You need to know just the right balance, you absolutly shuld be nice. People say scene kids are.....

Some poeple say scene kids are stuck up snobby punks,Well im not stuck up or snobby i have no reason to be i grew up in oregan ina trailer most of my life and ive always died my hair and dressed the way i liked and it happens to be hellokitty,neon converse's,fishnets,tutus and bright hair colors.Ive always bein like this and i always will be ima scenie beanie by heart its what i love. I dont care if people give me the evil glare cause ive gotten it my whole life,Theirs nothin that i have that they cant get honestly.I just value it a lil more cause ive worked my bum off to get it.Im not sayin im fluantin what i got cause thats rude and annoying, i give what i got to others.I care a lot about peoples feelings.I love a lot of people The only thing i hate is the word hate. I like to make people smile i dislike to see them sad.Im goofy but serious.Like i said i grew in a trailer but im well mannered.

I live in the teejayy(tj) area (mexico) people here are not like the people in san diego (although i do get criticized any where i go), its hard to find people who has my hair like mines or the way i dress people will here in teejayy (tj) because in teejayy you will find more gang than anything else and also their schools are strict (i go to usa to study cus i live there also) will make fun of you if you listen to rock because the music here is mainly reggeton i like expressing my love and passion for hardcore music and i love the whole damn rainbow. i often get criticized on how i dress usually i get comments (in spanish lol) saying whey are you wearing that?!, that is for little kids or ill get are you a ballerina cus you are wearing a tutu skirt in public and the most famous ones of them all your hair is so etc so on so forth i dont care cus all that i wear and how i express myself makes me happy and the way i really am people can say what they want but i will dress the way i want or do my hair whatever but i am not going to change just for silly little comments, im a child at heart im a cartoon freak <3 and i go to the children sections at stores (most) to get my clothes (cus theyre cuter and colorful) but i am happy and that is what counts [:

There isnt one way to explain scene. Scene can be explained any way you want it to be . But dont let it get to you to hard, thinking someone is a poser, because there isnt such thing. dont listen to those who call you fake, be who you are. if you dont believe in labeling, then thats you ! Dosent matter what school you go to or what neighborhood you live in there always going to be doubters and haters.=/ There are always going to be that group of people or just that one person who looks you up and down funny on what ever you wear. Just say the hell with them let them look their just jealous they cant do there make-up, hair or even dress like that and pull it off. If you want your hair green,pink,yellow,purple,blue or even orange go ahead if you like who cares what other people think.Your not doing this so you can impress them. So if you going to be scene be able to take ugly look, stupid comment but also the nice,sweet ones to. =)

Its a proven fact that sometime in life somebody will judge u on looks or maybe something else yes that is a problem. Here is the solution WHATEVER THAY SAY IS NOT TRUE UNLESS U SAY IT IS but if u do say it is STFU THATS A LIE x] with love i say it. usuaally scene kids have their hair all teased and dyed lookin awesomely crazy {thats some not all can dye their hair} if u have your hair like that beware for them to judge you but wat only matters is that u care bout your hair and that u like it they could be just mad cuz they cant get it like that ;] .. the makeup is a plus but u dont have to have it .. the most important thing is to be nice!!! words can be weapons and hurtful u wont make a difference in the situation using them and it just shows u care. scene kids like random things cuz its unique like them ;D also hellokitty o; big bows and other cute things.

Scene is not "emo". Scene is not "goth". In a way i guess it could look like one of those, but its not. Scene is its own style. Emo is dark, and depressed. Goth is just plain dark. Now, a scene kid, can be the happiest person you know. Bright colors and crazy hair with crazy colors will describe a scene kid. Bows, neon colors, gir, and hello kitty would describe a scene kid. Silly but awesome names like Johnny eatz rainbows, or Emmerz eats zombehz can describe a scene kid. Scene people can be made fun of because of their hair, or clothes, but I stand out with them, and we will go out there with our friends and be different. We are scene teens, and we have pride in what we are.

Being scene is about being you and being different, showing that you dont just follow everyone else and wear whats "trendy". Its about "taking the scene" when people see you (in a good way of course) and not letting other people tear you down. It shows you have confidence and dont really care if people like you or not just cuz you dress different than them. Its feeling good about yourself and knowing you can be whoever you want to be. Being scene is all about you being unique! If you go somewhere and people start staring, embrace it! When somone at school says somthing mean, just act like they're jelouse. Im that girl people go to, to feel better. Im the girl that sucks at spelling, has `too many braclets`, and is always singing along to songs. Thats just how i am. Today, Ashleyy will start to talk aboutt her hairr, But after that, she will change the subject to something probablyy completely different,. Shall we beginn?

The firstt thing Ashleyy does in the morning is turn her alarm off which blasts the comforting sounds of Christmas musicc ALL YEAR LONG :D

Next off the lisst, is Ashleyy walks to thee bathroom and strips to her Birthday suit! O___O

Ashleyy turns on thee water and waitss for it to heat to perfection, then takes a steamy showerr ;D

Shampooingg and Conditioningg the hair come next and then out of the shower time!

After drying off and putting some underwear and a bra on, Ashleyy begins to blow dry her hair with her red hair dryer.

After the hair is dry, she begins straightening it with the crappy, cheap straightener she bought at Sally Beautyy.

Once straightened, Ashleyy begins to tease, tease, tease her hair. She selects a flat area and combs toward the scalp. (Towards the scalpp)

When straightened and teased to absolutee magnificancee, Ashleyy sprays with her crappy hair spray that she also bought at Sally Beauty (Stick to Rave, people. It's cheap and works like gluee! :D)

When finished there, Ashley wanders to the kitchen to make sushi for her lunch and then finished there, Ashleyy does her makeup. Nothing special, really.

She applies a thin line of black eyeliner to the top lid, then puts it on the bottom lid, too, more like in the eyelid, she supposes..

When done, Ashleyy gets her bluee and whitee backpackk and heads on over to the bus stop. Where she freezes her BUTT OFF until the bus comess.
