How To Dress “Scene”

Dressing scene is a crucial part in becoming a scene girl. If you don’t get it just right, you will be labeled as a poser, and such. Just to help you out, I’ve made a list of tips.
Types: Before you become a scene girl, you have to choose your “type”. Some types are
Boyish/Tomboy: Wearing jeans and boyish clothes. Usually darker colors.
Girly: Dresses, skirts, lots of jewelry, and more pink then usual.
Little Girlishhh: Dresses, skirts, leggings, and mismatching patterns.
There’s tons of possibilities. You can mix types or have a little bit of all. You can make up your own. You can also change types, but make it a gradual change, and don’t change all the time.
Shirts: Band tees, graphic tees, and big hoodies. You can combine your wardrobe with skin-tight shirts to huge gigantinormous shirts. Anything really looks good. Nothing to adult like, like something your mom would wear to work. That’s a big no-no.
Pants: Skinny jeans, leggings, skirts. Bright colors! Think neon! Animal print leggings are a great find, and you have to buy them if you find a pair. Animal prints, bold prints, and bright colored jeans. The clothes that you used to look at in the store saying “Heh heh, um, moving on….”
Make-up: The essential make up is black eyeliner and HEAVY mascara. Some girls use fake eyelashes, but this is only an option. Bold eyeshadow is also optional, but find a color that brightens/accents your eye color. Designs like stars, or winged thing off the side of your eye are typical, and pretty.
Jewelry: Think big, plastic, colorful, chunky. Piercings are very common in the scene world, and look pretty much adorable. Wearing lots of bracelets and necklaces at the same time is considered normal, and is highly encouraged.
Hair: Check out the other articles on Scene hair how to’s. Always have a cute bow at hand. Headbands, tiaras, and hats are good too.
Hope I helped. Muah, XOXO <3
