You could also try some checkered or colorful shoe laces, Skinny jeans, Tight fitting, graphic tees are a must, Animal print, checkers, plaid, stripes - anything that describes your personality, merchandise from places like Hello Kitty, Gloomy Bear, Care Bears, Elmo, etc. Brand tees are a must. Colorful skinny jeans, tutus, jean skirts, and Vans and Converse are awesome, Wear bright random t-shirts with funky designs on them, kiddish bracelets, Over-sized pearl necklaces or other long necklaces, hoodies, Pyramid stud belts, classic white belts and much more be creative. How to do Scene makeup
Being scene is mostly expressing yourself and that’s were the makeup comes in
The way you do your makeup proves your uniqueness and most scene queens get recognized because of the combination of their makeup
First up, foundation/powder you wanna get a lighter/same as your skin depending if you want to be wild or natural
Second, eye shadow *most important* if you want to stand out get a matte black or neon colours/if your if you want to be natural but with a bit of twist use brown eye shadows and to give some depth add some matte black to the crease
Third, eyeliner use a lot of black eyeliner *liquid/pencil* to bring out your eyes and eye shadows
Fourth, blush if you want to add some effect *baby cheeks* soft/hot pink blushes would do fine

3.) attention- both good and bad attention should be expected. people who want to be like you will copy you and ty talk to you as much as possible , others will hate and diss you mainly because they know they can never be like you.
4)music - scene music can be fun and bouncy as well as having the essential bit of screamo , the lyrics can be awesomely obscene or can be deep and relateable either way scene music is amazing.

I grew up in the big city, and learned to be creative early. When I was ten, that changed. My parents moved us to a little town, with no more than 1000 people occupying the large living space. People weren't welcome if they didn't have dried mud from their ranch clinging to the soles of their cowboy boots. Everyone glared, silently willing me to disappear. And when I saw how it was there, I wished I could have. After my first day of school, I went shopping. Cowboy boots and faded Levi's filled my drawers when I got home. Eventually, I became liked by a few kids. But every time I changed my wardrobe, my friends changed. I tried so hard to be accepted by my classmates. Finally, the end of ninth grade, I realized no matter what I did, not everyone would like me.I couldnt make everybody happy, but I could make ME happy. After that, I became who I used to be. I wore the clothes that made me happy, put on makeup that made my skills look incredible, and listened to music I actually wanted to hear. Kids instantly drifted away from me, calling me a "scene kid" which was the first time I'd heard about it. I looked up "scene" and realized it was me. Scene isn't about being glamorous, or flawless, or fake. Scene means being yourself, standing up for who you are, and being who you want, even when others put you down.Scene is being different than others, and being okay with that. There's always going to be those kids who make fun of you, just to feel better. But one day, their going to realize acting like their five years old isn't going to get them anywhere. And one day, your going to realize your stronger now, because of the way they put you down, and the way you didn't give up.

No matter where you are, people will criticize you. There will always be someone who doesn't like you; it's impossible to please everyone. You need to learn to embrace your flaws. It's important to know who you are and know what you want. Remember, most people hate because they're jealous or hating makes them feel powerful. Stand out to be confident. Don't ever become scene just to please your peers. Also if you are going to be a scene kid in a place where they are extremely rare, be prepared for the many angry glares and discrimination you will get from other people. However, be careful not to become overconfident. Nobody wants to interact with someone who puts them down or acts like a jerk, but don't let people walk all over you either. You need to know just the right balance, you absolutly should be nice. People say scene kids are.....

Being a scene kid in a normal closed minded society can be tough. People put you down, you get mean looks, and sometimes people even laugh at you. I live in a place where scene isn't common. In my school, you have two kinds of people, the ones who are completely awed by the scene style, or the ones that hate it. Scenes often get confused with 'Emo' kids, and it is a very grave difference. People label you as all kinds of things, but why should we be labeled when all scene really is, is being yourself, and expressing yourself. People may call us posers, or fakes, but really, how can we be posers and fakes if all were doing is being ourselves? No ones the same. Thats where the closed minded'ness of people comes in. No one can accept anything that isn't cookie cutter and against the system. Most of the people who can't accept it, are jealous. Others think its ridiculous. But to us, we all know who we really are, and were not afraid to show it. I love being creative through my hair, makeup, and clothes, because I can show people my colourful personality and who I really am. Though most of us seem cocky, not all of us are. We are down to earth, and pretty chill. We are human beings just like everyone else, we just express ourselves differently. Though the judging and discrimination may hurt sometimes, we always know that were confident in ourselves, and who we are to look that way. Thats why we brush it off, and keep standing tall.

Being different and standing out form the crowd means you will be criticised by those who follow the in crowd. Self-confidence is something you will need if you are a part of the scene world. Trying to act really confident and bringing people down for being themselves will not help you in the long run. Be prepared to get weird looks and comments if you live some place where scene isn't popular. Just be yourself and I promise you that people will respect you for that. If they don't, then forget them. Scene kids are often said to be rude and very loud. Although SOME of that may be true, it's not always the case. Don't be one to give scene a bad name. Not everyone will like you, but you can't please everyone out in our multicultural world. Some will have their doubts about you but just ignore the negativity and carry on with no care in the world.
