scenes are kids that can be really random at times. Scenes are very nice although most people think of them as rude people. These girls love wearing colorful things! Most scene girl love having that poofy hair! Scene is about expressing yourself. we may take a long time getting ready because we love a little bit of everything. One thing most scene girls like is hellokitty. feel free and express yourself

Scene kids are usually taken as pretty bold, overly-confident, and sometimes random;; however, there's the "other" type of scene, which allows you to shoot towards cute and shy [which may fit perfect if you're just coming into being scene]. Some people don't like scene girls, because they mostly come off as really rude, vain, horrid, rumor spreading/gossiping teenagers, so be nice to everybody [no matter how much they tick you off!!] and you might surprise them. Some scene girls wear flat ballet shoes, designer flats, or even tutus [or tutu like skirts]. What seems to be popular around scene kids are Slip-on Vans [or other Van wear], jelly bracelets [child-like bracelets or band bracelets are good too], band tees [examples: 3OH!3 or Escape The Fate tees], graphic tees [they're "must-haves", such as Invader Zim (mainly Gir) or Hello Kitty], colorful shoe laces, skinny jeans/jean skirts [colored or not], animal prints [zebra and leopard print work well], checkers, plaids, or stripes. Merch from Hello Kitty, Gloomy Bear, Care Bears, Elmo, Invader Zim, etc. are welcomed, especially if they describe your personality characteristics. Scene kids dip a lot into color, some with colored skinny jeans, jean skirts, random bright t-shirts with paint splatters [or other funky or weird designs], tutus, and converse. If you like necklaces, then there's always the choice of overly-sized pearl necklaces or long necklaces. Hoodies are also favored, along with pyramid stud belts [or bracelets], white belts [the classics], or things added from your own personality [here's where creativity counts!]. Your hair should be a new haircut, yet original, classy, and colored [if desired]. Your eye make-up should be bright. Music is another big thing. Some scene bands are 3OH!3, Escape The Fate, AFI, Hollywood Undead, BOTDF, Stereo Skyline, Metro Station, and more. These bands aren't required to be scene, so you can listen to whatever you'd like to. [Tips: 1. The scene culture? It was originally based off of the music! 2. Take good pictures to post up on facebook/myspace/aim - make sure they're flattering, and not blury. You can get a friend who wants to be a photographer to do some shots for you so they get practice, too.]

I've tried so many times to BE noticed, and I've failed just as many times. No matter what I keep going because one day I know I'll make it big. I have flaws just like everyone else. I have a weird ear as I call it. It sticks out farther than the other one. I also have a dimple chin. I'm a little chubbier than the rest. I love it though I love being different I think thats why for me confidence is everything if you don't have it. You have almost nothing. I'm not the popular girl that feeds off perfection. Miryam Sater is my favorite scene queen and she inspires me alot, as well as others. and i helped people at my school realize that just because i dress the way i do, doesnt mean im depressed or a cutter or anything. Scene, to me, is a bunch of fun! & i hope you accept me as a sitemodel <3 (:

Being a scene queen, takes a lot of work. But its totally worth it. If your'e on youtube and you seem to pass a tutorial on "how to be a scene kid" theese are great videos if your starting out, but you must remember you have to be your own style, like beggining your own trend, I love making my own trends. They might not become popular right away but don't give up.
Be an idviual its the most important thing,
the hair and makeup is pretty basic lots of teasing and hair spray :)) their is pprobley a lot of videos about it on youtube and blogs on this websiite about how to do this :)) with make up, colourful or black is best but remember to be an idvuial. Being scene in very rewarding and the looks you get are priceless, Being scene is better then being a prep any day, being a prep is wayyy over rated** you have to deal with being on top, which can be hard to handle,YOUR HAVE TO BE SKINNYY being scene it doesn't matter the size, YOU HAVE TO HAVE THE TOP BRANDS being scene 2nd hand stores are great place to get great finds, YOU HAVE TO HAVE THE JOCK BOYFRIEND, being scene you don't even need a man. i could go on for hours telling you the cold hard shitty facts about being like everyone else!!

People say scene kids are kids/teens who dress differently,act differently,and of course look differently. It all may be true but scene kids are humans too. They have love just it hides way deep down inside and they might or might not want to show it. It doesnt mean people should treat us different cos' of how we look, treat us like you would want us to treat you.

Sooo...I've learned over the years to be EXACTLY Who you are! Don't let others tear you down and make you feel like a lesser person! Stand up and fight for your rights because who are they to judge? So they don't have big hair, and maybe don't wear tones of eyeliner, but they got their looks and personality from somewhere. Scene is just another way of saying "I'm me and I DGAF what others think" It's a chance to stand out and show the world what your made of. It's not a cliche, or a click, or a style, its a life choice
