It's not about what you're called in life, its what you respond to. Scene is the name which is given to a certin way of who or how people see themselves. Many belive the fake stereotype that scene people are mean, cruel, insensitive, "airheaded", and of corse weird and conceded. This however is not a scenes personal goal. In being a scene one must realize why it is called that name, it is because someone is trying to make a "scene" litterly. clustered in todays society we feel the pressure to drop dead put on a robot suit and follow everyone else. Scene girls and guys however love to make a scene. Either it be their bright colored clothes, or the whacky hair style, perhaps even wearing an animal tail (my personal favorite) we always try to make ourselves stand out from all the others. Our main goal is trying to be that one red rose in a pile of white ones.If you are going to be a scene kid be prepared for the halestorm of dirty comments, or snakley whispers, or even slashing points at when people see you. Try to be friendly and nice to everyone you see even if they are "bashing" your looks, after all kill them with kindness. Don't ever become scene for the wrong reason, for the fact that you just like the style, that is a no. Be who you are because you like yourself, not because everyone seems to be doing it. Another key point in this key is flaws. No ones perfect at all there is no one in the world with a clean slaighted soul. If you have a rip in your shirt be spontanious rip more and make it seem like as if your shirt was ment to be that way. Add bright colors to your hair, maybe even try a new hairstyle you know no one would ever dare to try. EXPERAMENT!!!! Scene kids are confident they rely on themselves, they take their style and way of life with pride no matter how many people try to tare it down. Usualy if this happen don't be worried it is because they are jelouse they don't have the courage to do what you are. But also don't be to over confident or as many put it "cocky', then you will indeed end up as one of those types many belive them to be. With all this said and done these are of corse but just many of the few ways to get you started in your life of being scene, and of corse remember when discriminated against who you are just flash them a big thumb up and smile because you know you are who you are.

Things always get better no matter what the situation is. Your never going to forget your past. The past aren't your mistakes 'cause you get smarter and you grow up and you learn they where just things telling you "see what happend. Now you'll learn not to do it again." Drugs isn't something to get yourself into. It can kill you. Try being yourself. People may call you names but don't fight back to make the matters worse. Just walk away from it then you'll be the mature one, they won't.

I rememeber when i traded schools and there was this one girl who wasn't what you called "cool". Everybody looked down on her because she didnt look like everyone else. At first I was one of those people. Now that I look back, that was the wrong thing to do and I feel absolutly horribal.
She is the most nicest person ever, and when you're having a bad day she's the one that's there for you. She's what you would call my best friend.

So In life there will always be people that dislike you, pick on you, and hate you. But it should be these people that motivate you to be stronger and more confident. After all if you werent important would they even waste their time on you? NO! Haters should be your motivaters. Be unique at ALL cost! But remember NEVER be too confident it makes you seem stuck up. Stuck up is yuck! Also if you are planning to be scene be ready for the stares and whispers OR the "Holy crap your hair is awesome!" "I like your style!" We are in a world full of judgment, labels flying around used effortlessly and ruthlessly. I have fit under few labels since I remember my life actually beginning to get interesting. In fifth grade, I was the freak, and I have been since. Now a sophomore in high school I haven’t changed, other than my looks and self confidence.
I was always friends with anybody and everybody. When I say that I mean almost anybody, I had friends from every labeled group but not everyone from said group. What I found is there’s always an exception in a clique. Someone who doesn’t always fit the definition (or connotation) of that clique. There were a few here and there, but if there were more than me and one other person involved, it got awkward and I was excluded.
Guys have played with my heart endlessly since 8th grade, I am horrible when it comes to relationships and even worse without them. Since the dawn of the dinosaurs, iv been screwing up my love life, my social life, and my home life. Not many people like me and those who do, don’t last.
Yea there are haters, but in my case they don’t hate me because they are jealous, or haven’t until recently. I thought scene chicks were the prettiest of them all so I got a hair cut and practiced my makeup (I already had white skin.) now I’m looking the best I ever had and I have had a huge injection of confidence, but not attitude.

Scene is just another word for being you. When you're being you you will get judged, but you learn to get over it. we aren't "emo" or "gothic". Scene is all about bright colors and fun patterns. Most scene girls have teased hair, exotic make-up, and a unique style of her own. My whole closet consist on rainbows, skinny jeands, graphic tees, and skate shoes. I don't know many scene girls around my town but thats alright. I'm not a girl that hates everybody unless they're scene, i'm friends with preps, emos, goths, and tom boys. as long as you are friendly we won't have a problem. Im an extreme animal rights activist and an animla freak ;D I think scene comes from all around, i am british and french myself(: I have a good outlook on life and im proud of who i am and what i have become over time. I never stay with one color hair for longer then a month, currently it is a green-blue color, next will be pink. I love trying out new things and taking pictures in different places(: Anyway, Scene is just being you and expressing yourself through your own style.

YOU CAN'T BE SCENE. YOU CAN'T BE ANYTHING! or so I always seem to be being told. We all know that scenes have a stero type for being skinny, and you know honestly who dosen't want to be skinny? But thats not always going to be the case. I do happen to be on the bigger side of the scale. Not so fat that I can't bend over to tie my own shoes, but not exactly the type that fits into size five or seven pants either. But honestly that dosen't make me 'not scene'. Just because you don't have that perfect; cute little body dosen't mean your not scene or BEAUTIFUL. Because you are. You can be whatever you want to be, and the people who are going to tell you that you can't be scene because your fat...well their not very smart (: Who says that they weren't fat at one point. People can loose weight, but those with a bitchy attitude 24/7 who enjoy putting others down will carry that with them forever, and for the most part get them no where in life. So smile and be confident...not concided...confident. Skinny, or a little over weight, or maybe just a big person in general; you can still be beautiful. If thats what you want.

Hii (: Im Codii Quaratine, ive been "scene" i suppose for about four years, i have my lip, nose, monroe, bellybutton, and nipple peirced xD i have a heart tattoo on my hip <3 I personally love to piss people off, so when i was pretty young i started being a little goth kid, i live in a hick town and everyone is cowboys so you can imagine how that went over, but i loved all the attention, no one had liked me anyway so why should i try and be what they wanted? About a year or so after i started doing that i got sick of never really looking pretty, i love dressing up and makeup but goth kids, dont really do alot of that, so i started searching around for styles that i could still have the interests that i had showing,i actually found what scene was through Tokio Hotel, i fell in love with the singers hair and started reseaching other hair like it and BAM there was scene kids. i already had the rainbow hair so all i really had to was layer is some more and grow it out from the dyke fohawk i had lol In the End, scene to me was a obvious lifestyle choice and i dont think im ever going to change, i usually dont call myself scene but when it comes down to it what the hell else would i call myself?

Not every scene kid is a size 0. That's a stereotype. Or well, I believe it is. Personally, I think if you have confidence in yourself, then you'll be accepted for who you are and not what size you are. Also some of the most beautiful people I know are rude. Be beautiful not only on the outside, but on the inside as well! It takes a lot to do what you love. Not every one is accepting and not everyone is nice. It's a dog eat dog world and sometimes you have to live with someone saying no. But that shouldn't get you down, it should make you stronger. Every "no" is another opportunity to say yes to something new! Have fun with what you love and who you are and remember. BE BEAUTIFUL.

Scene kids stick out in a crowd. We get noticed! I love my awesome hair and my crazy outfits. There arent any reasons that i wouldnt want to be! Scene kids are friendly and fun-loving! Everybody is different, in there own unique way. So embrace that, people are going to judge you no matter what. You just have to show them you could care less what they think of you. Being a scene kid is embracing your self and showing people you don't care what they think. Being different is a good thing, if you ask me i would rather be different then to look the same with people.

Being scene can be really easy, only if you make it easy. But it can be diffucult...Like teasing your hair, for some people its diffucult...Its also hard getting your parents to let you do this. I took my mom about 6 months or something like that to let me be scene and actually help me cause, well, Im broke... I gots no money so my mom had to buy all my stuff.
Now for the easy part, BE CREATIVE, BE ORIGINAL, AND BE YOURSELF. that is the most easiest part and the most important part of being scene. Be creative, come up with a rad scene name. Make sure it will stick out and stick with people. Be original, make you outfits, jewlery, shoes, and hair stick out too! Being Different is all you have to do!! Being normal is boring and not fun, thats why scene kids are so different!! Be Yourself, make sure that when you go scene your not leaving yourself behind. No one wants a poser and not being yourself is very poser-ish. If you like classical music, being a nerd, or something awesomer, that will make you more you and more scene. Scene is different, your different!

Now for the easy part, BE CREATIVE, BE ORIGINAL, AND BE YOURSELF. that is the most easiest part and the most important part of being scene. Be creative, come up with a rad scene name. Make sure it will stick out and stick with people. Be original, make you outfits, jewlery, shoes, and hair stick out too! Being Different is all you have to do!! Being normal is boring and not fun, thats why scene kids are so different!! Be Yourself, make sure that when you go scene your not leaving yourself behind. No one wants a poser and not being yourself is very poser-ish. If you like classical music, being a nerd, or something awesomer, that will make you more you and more scene. Scene is different, your different!
