Being scene is all about being yourself. It's about not being afraid to express who you are. Too much are we stereotyped, but so what if we put on a little more eyeliner then most and like to do cool wings with it. So what if we want to wear our skirts over our skinnys with our chucks or vans, and random jewelry. Being scene is an art. It's a form of expression. You just gotta be yourself. Confidence is key, people are always gonna judge but so many more, the ones who matter, will respect you and love you for being yourself. Being scene is fearless expression. In my opinion it's the best way to be, I love wearing what I want with whatever I want. I couldn't imagine just wearing typical jeans and a t-shirt everyday. I went to a high school of over 2k kids. I was the only one walking the halls with bright pink/blue/or red hair. I was the first one with a lip piercing, only one who wore skinny jeans with a skirt over. It was rough how I was treated and how no one ever took the chance to get to know me cause my bold appearance. but it was my way of expressing myself and I loved every bit of it. Being "Scene" is unique. Most people will call you emo others call you fake, you cant let that get in the way of who you are. In the small town that i live in, the only "scene" person (and my best friend) in my school moved away. Now its only me having to deal with people yelling emo at me everyday and making fun of me because i wear dark make up, that still dosnt bring me down. Dont let others get in the way of you being yourself. Dont change for Anyone, live to be you.

How I Do My Hair: First I separate in 3 spots. One on the left, back, and right. Leave a reasonable chunk out of the pony and then pin the ones in the pony with a clip. Straighten the chunks that were left laying out and then keep repeating with bringing more chunks out of the ponytails. I think Being Scene Queen is awesome! Having hella sick colorful hair and awesome clothes. If anyone is scene, Be prepared to have haters. A lot of people out there are against "scene kids" and will swear, name call and possibly bash you for just walking around the street. And definitely don't lash back out on them.Some scene kids to get ideas from are Zui Suicide, Brookelle Bones, Len Livesfortoday, Natalie Astronaut, Darko Narcissist and Vanna Venom. Realize that some people will hate you. Those people include punks, skater kids, and most members of the scene or visitors of the local venue that aren't scene kids. Don't label people, and then they might not hate you. You are all people, not separate species.

Also if you are going to be a scene kid in a place where they are extremely rare, be prepared for the many angry glares and discrimination you will get from other people. However, be careful not to become overconfident. Nobody wants to interact with someone who puts them down or acts like a jerk, but don't let people walk all over you either. You need to know just the right balance, you absolutly shuld be nice. People say scene kids are.....

We all have our flaws, nobody's perfect. We have to learn to accept ourselves as we truly are 'cause if you can't accept who you are then no one will. We have to stand up for ourselves. Having that outrageous coloured hair, and those brootal favourite bands get's alot of questionable critism but just brush it off ..<3 your being yourself and that's all that matters, Also have respect for the scene queens out there, kiki and audrey and dani gore and izzi hilton and izzi murder have all made that5 reputation from scratch so please respect them and more importantly vbe inspired. It's important to be inspired by someone famous in the scene world such as kiki and her coontails, don't wear the exact same ones as her, make yours, blue with pink and black instead or at least change them so they fit you!(L)

I don't care what people think of me and haters gunna hate cause they have nothing better to do. You should just be yourself and do what you want to do and don't be as fake as barbie, that never works. Haters make you famous so embrace the haters, try to set them off by being yourself cause they're jelouse ;) You shouldn't judge people and you should be sweet and outgoing, cause if your a jerk then so many amazing and people who are perfect for you are just being thrown away like that. "Let yourself Flow out into the dark world of haters." Those words were said by my best friend. When I was 'girly- girl' The fact I just learned the music.. and actually enjoyed listening to it. I got addicted. The fact i changed. I started Doing my hair all big and pretty, my eye make-up was more dramatic, My clothes represent who i am. Get out a permanent marker and cross it out because it will only make you want to give up, and scene people NEVER give up! :)

Scene kids are awesome beautiful people. People may judge us just because we're different. But being different is the best way of expressing yourself. Everyone is unique in there own way but some people try to fit in "whats the point of trying to fit in when your supposed to stand out?!" i express myself im fun, outgoing, and spontaneous er how ever you spell it haha yes im not the best at everything no one is so what i have to say to you is that you should put yourself out there (not in a bad way) like me i wear bright colors and wear skinny jeans but you do what you think suits you best!!!! the way i do my hair and make up is I was my hair blow dry it straighten it i use my fingers to tease and i use aussie freeze hairspray, i put liquid foundation on first on my face and neck then i use pale powder cover up, I put eyeliner on heavy on top do the wing and eyeliner light on the bottom.

Yet I don't mind being called a scene kid, or a scene queen, because I don't see that as ever being an insult, because scene reflects personality, look, colour and the whole concept of being different !
