No matter where you areand and where are you from, people will criticize you all the time. Many people they would tell
that you are ungly!Don't listen to them because they are jealous or just want you to be sad.Don't listen the people that they hate you, listen only the people that you like and love you like you are.Stand out to be CONFIDENT but don't overdo it.Scene kid or not you have to be nice with all the people haters and lovers!

People always look on the mellow side of life but people need to stand out from the normal and be unique in their own ways, even simple things can make a big difference to a person and people around them this gets people to change their minds and outlooks on life. <3

Hey Scenesters,
Heres A Tip About Makeup
Every Scene Girl Wants Picture Perfect Skin
And For That You Would Need The Perfect Foundation
When You Come To Choosing The Foundation At The Drugstore,
Go For One Thats Long Lasting and Your Exact Skintone.
Two that seem to work very well:
Maybelline New York Dream Matte Mousse
Rimmel London Lasting Finish Anti Trace Foundation
WHEN PICKING SHADES:: Dont Use The Back Of Your Hand To See The Shade As Your Face And Your Hand Are Two Different Shades I WOuld Recomend PuttIng A Tiny Bit Of The Tester On Your Jawbone And Blending In a Bit
REMEMBER: You Can Always Wipe It Off
APPLYING THE FOUNDATION:It Is A Lot Better To Use A Foundation Brush Rather Than A Sponge Or Your Fingers
As It Blends Better And You Can Get A Professional Finish
Foundation brushes are sold at most drugstores and online it dosent have to be expensive Plus You will find it a lot easier <-- Just Like Painting A Wall Lol
hope this helps sum people

Brittany Bombshell

Brittany's rambling;
My individuality, other people's individuality, is something I truly do love and appreciate. I hate how kids "now-a-days" all have to look like robots to fit in, we all have to be the same. That's no fun is it? Of course people do also say, "Well Scene Kids all look alike" but to be even just a tad bit truthful, we really aren't, each and everyone of us is different in our own way. I don't see "Scene" as a personality, but a style. Of course we have a general style, like the skinny jeans, or band-tee's, and of course, our hair. Not gonna lie guys, I love it. The multicoloured hair and teasing it to the point of defying gravity, is fun. The scene style to me seems like its more fun and bubbly! With the bright hair and make-up, especially clothes :) I like being around other people "like me" because I sometimes feel I won't be judged that much. But then again, maybe that's what the other people say? You have to look at both sides of the story, to be fair. More people in this generation need to be more open and accepting to be honest..... I hate it when people copy me/other people. Its like, "Be your own person, don't try to be something you're not" y'know? Trying to be something you're not is just annoying, people just know you're fake. Honesty i suppose kind of goes along with that. You don't HAVE to have everything in common with a person to be friends, you can say you're honest opinion (without being obnoxious) and people will probably respect that/you more. You don't want to be known as a liar.
-on to another rambling!-
A lot of people aren't told they're beautiful enough. Everyone looks on the outside rather than trying to get to know the person... A lot just judge themselves..... Girls mostly. We are our own worst enemy. We look at ourselves in the mirror and we just think, "God.what.is.that.thing?" even when there's really nothing wrong! Everyone is beautiful. What makes you, you, is what makes you beautiful. SO. Here I come to a close, and just tell you, You are who you are, don't try to be anyone else, and you are beautiful, and I love you. :)

Alright, every single person on this planet has good times, bad times, great times, and worse times, but you have to make it. Every little bump, all of the grins and giggles; they define who you are. You should never copy someone, because then it's not really you, is it? By being yourself, you bring more excitement into the world. So just be you. It's an amazing thing to feel like you're beautiful, smart, wanted. Though you can never let it go to your head. If you can do one simple thing, you'll be something, someone, in this world. You.

How to dye your hair bright colors;D
If your hair is dark brown to black, you'll have to bleach it more than once. I bleached mine 3 times and then I got the right shade of blonde perfect for dying (It was almost white) You'll have to condition it a lot. It'll "kill" your hair and make it feel dead. Then buy the hair dye color and brand you want.
After you have the right shade of blonde, buy the hair dye color and brand you want. (I'm going to use Manic Panic as an example, it worked best for me lol) Rinse the bleach out (or just wash your hair- just make sure its wet. It's okay to use conditioner) Apply the color and let it set for 30-40 minutes. If you let it sit in too long it can over process and the color might not come out the way you want it to D:
Rinse in cold water. This will help the color stay in<3
When you shower or bathe, you'll have to wash your hair in cold water, and condition it. I wash mine in the sink and then shower in warmer water so its not unpleasant :3
And that's how you do it n___n

BarbieScene VonEcstasy

Everybody tries to be scene nowadays but I wouldn't say they're posers, I'd just say they want to fit in & be as popular as most scene people. I get called scene all the time but I consider me being myself. I don't try to fit in & I don't want to fit it. Nobody's gonna really notice you if you look just like everybody else, ya know? If you're not really scene & you over do it, you will get called a poser. That's the truth. I say you should be yourself, dress like you want, wear what you want, do your hair & make-up how you want & never put a label on yourself & maybe you'll become an icon in some form of style like scene.
Kayla CoRe Conrose

Don't let other put you down, just cause your different! WHO CARES?! You are you and don't change that. Just because you are emo or scene, you are who you are and you don't want to change! No one can change you, cause you are who you are, and you are loving who you are!
Black Angel

No matter where you are, people will criticize you. There will always be someone who doesn't like you; it's impossible to please everyone. You need to learn to embrace your flaws. It's important to know who you are and know what you want. Remember, most people hate because they're jealous or hating makes them feel powerful. Stand out to be confident. Don't ever become scene just to please your peers. Also if you are going to be a scene kid in a place where they are extremely rare, be prepared for the many angry glares and discrimination you will get from other people. However, be careful not to become overconfident. Nobody wants to interact with someone who puts them down or acts like a jerk, but don't let people walk all over you either. You need to know just the right balance, you absolutly shuld be nice. People say scene kids are different. Some say pretty.
Savannah Savage

I have fun being me and I really don't care what people say. I love my haters. I'm glad to be whom I am. I have my friends and loves ad hates. Be who you are and don't care. I wanna stand out and be me. If you feel like that than do it. People that care for you would exsept you for whom you are and not for what other people say. Just love life like I do. Have fun with it. Change it up and be you. This is me..
Bailey Bansdages

as would know, somebody will hate you anywhere you go. When they hate you it means there jealous, or they will weak and they want to make themselfs stronger. So don't worry about it.
If your being scene because everyone else is doing it, then don't. You don't want to be a poser, do you? I highly doubt it. Just be yourself.
Oh and you wnat to be nice but strong. Don't think your the only person in the world and that world reolaves around you. But don't say yes to everything .

Somewhere down the line everyone has seen someone they thought looked awesome and decided to create their own path like theres. You agree with the lifestyles they make, you enjoy their interests, and you are comfortable looking like it. thats how you know it fits you. Being scene has been around forever, but never had a name. Those were the people who dressed differently then everyone and didnt care what people said or did.. ever since speaking your mind and being different was the new hip thing to do, people came out of the mold society fits them to be. And those people werent copying anyone. same with every trend and style. being scene is evolutionary because preps wear clothing that say "american eagle" or "hollister" and are afraid to step out of that loop for fear of ridicule. scene kids wear things from thrift stores to hammy downs to hott topic and work accessories and hairstyles into the mix to create an awesome look without a label, name, or copy. SO in a way you create your mini trend that fits only you. It's your life. you can do whatever you want to do.. -Kodiee Sparkie MicroSharpie<3

I love scenequeens.com! ;D Best site ever! (idk what i'm supposed to do in this box)
Missy Monster

in my town there were no real scene kids until this year when i got out of private school. we got some new kids. three of which were scene. i've always loved the look of scene kids and died to be one myself. so interested and i always tried during my private school life, but couldn't because my mother felt she was being judged by how i looked. finally this year i was free. some people like me and then others tell me i fail at life. lucky for me i have plenty of friends and a strong self esteem unlike past years that i can get over what others think and just do what i want. and that's worked well for me so far. i'd love to be a scene queen as well :) i love all scene things. i can't hide my love. i've even started showing people how not to judge based on a different appearance, and have even made friends through it. :) i've really improved my life and become happy by following what i want and hope i can connivence others to do the same

All around the world kids are being taught that being unique is a bad thing, well i think its great. I think what you need to do is embrace your self the way you are :), because no matter where you are in the world theres always gonna be one person who will judge you no matter how you look, act or speak. You can be what you want to be no matter what anyone else says!!.

i believe,
looks isnt inportant but personality is.
if you ever made someone laugh before you have a amazing personality. which everyone has done:)
also makeup is just an accesorie.
being flawless is the best thing you can do and it shouldnt matter about size ethier. dont let people bring you down! if they call you emo, goth, preppy or whatever you know what you are.
i remeber when i was younger, people use to make fun of me alot. but one day, the meanest girl at school who treated me like crap came up to me and told me"people only say that cause there jelous" so from then on when people make fun of me and stuff i will always remember that.
and also everyone is beautiful in there own way:)

I go to a school where everyone is criticize constantly. but over the years i have learned that people are just doing that to act "big". im 14 and 5ft tall,im the first of my class to actually stand up to my school and attempt to stop the criticism. Luckily ive been succesfull. i allways have a smile on my face, theres not one thing that can keep me from smiling. everyday i get asked why im so happy, i tell them "its new day, and im planning on making it the best." i dont use labels but my friends all say i'm "scene." Im a role model to a lot of people, and im proud. proud to be a Scene.
Tayler Terror

Hi i'm Tayler Terror :) and its a little hard being a scene kid in my school. People make fun of me and are mean. But i have some really close friends who i know will always be there for me. They will stick up for me no matter what. I guess its kinda hard not to get upset about it, but i can always get through it :).
Hailey Heartthrob

I don't think i'm all too pretty. I love people. Uhm yyeah i love texting and talking on the phone.

Being scene isn't a life-valued thing, but it can sure change a person, and it can give you something to live for. Anyone has what it takes to be scene. All it takes is a change of your style and look and dedication. Being scene isn't just about how you look. It's not JUST about big hair, bright colored clothing, piercings, and eyeliner. It's also about the music, being confident, and living life like you mean it. Scene is not a label, and don't let people label you a scene kid! That's what makes things bad, because then they'll follow the stereotypes. Scene is a way of life.
No matter what, people will always hate on you. They will say rude things, call you a wannabe, and say you're not scene. You may not be a TRUE scene, like Audrey Kitching, Brookelle Bones, Kiki Kannibal, or some of the other scene queens out there, but inside you are. You are scene. You CAN be scene. Laugh at the haters! Don't believe what they say! "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder". Always remember than, and always remember than only you know what's true and what's not.
I've been site modeling for quite some time, and I've always wanted to be scene. I started out labeling my pictures scene just to help myself get by for the first couple of months, but that didn't help at all. That just brought me down because I labeled myself. I also didn't quite look like it, and since then I've been hated on for being a scene wannabe. I've had endless remarks on social networking sites, even from people I know in real life that wouldn't give their identity, that I was such a try-hard and wannabe and it really hurt me. But I kept going. I kept site modeling, but I stopped labeling my pictures because at that moment, I realized that following a stereotype wasn't going to get me anywhere. So I just lived my life, and I still got haters. I managed to push them aside, not let them bother me because I knew that I was a scene at heart. Maybe not on the outside, but on the inside I was. I laughed at haters. I LOVED my haters, because they helped me grow.
As Miley Cyrus said in her song, "Liberty Walk", "don't listen to all the people who hate 'cause all they do is help make your mistakes for you. But they don't own ya, I just told ya." Follow that. Make that your motto. You CAN be scene! Be proud of who you are, that's all that matters.
