It is just another label that society has slapped on people who don’t fit their definition of “normal.” To me, I am normal; to me, I am just fine the way I am. But that's only half of the music I listen to.

I like characters like Gloomy Bear, Invader Zim and Gir, CareBears, Teen Titans, Hello Kitty (Of course), Alice In Wonderland, and last- but not least- Sailor Moon.

I really don't give a shit what everyone thinks of me because I'm myself. No one can change me and never will. I was put in this world not to please them but to become what I will become in the future. Which is hopefully, a photographer, singer, artist, and most important of ALL- A great mother.(Not for a while though...)

START: EYES

YOUR EYES SHOULD BE THE 2ND BEST THING ON YOU. IN LINE RIGHT BEHIND YOUR HAIR.

TIP1: FOUNDATION. YOU NEED A FOUNDATION TO START WITH SO WHY NOT FOUNDATION? LOL BUTT, U SHOULD PROTECT YOUR BEAUTIFUL SKIN WITH FOUNDATION. ITS NOTHING TOO SPECIAL. WELL IT DO HIDE PIMPLES, AND THEM SCARS FROM PIMPLES. SOOO THEREFORE IT IS KINNA SPECIAL.

TIP2: YOUR EYES SHOULD POP! LET'S STAND OUT WITH EYELINER; LIQUID IS BEST FOR THEM CAT EYES THAT I HAVE.

TIP3: LET'S NOT FORGET THE EYESHADOWW!! OMGG THE EYE SHADOW SHOULD BE COLORFUL. BRIGHT COLORS OR BLACK IF YOU WANT THE GOTHIC SCENE LOOK.

TIP4: MASCARRA! BIG THINGG.. YOU SHOULD APPLY LOTS!! LOTS!! AND OH YEAH LOTS!! OF MASCARRA OR FAKE LASHES. FAKE LASHES LOOK GOOD ANYTIME TO GET THAT LOOK YOU WANT. I PREFER ONLY WHEN I'M GOING TO A CONCERTT ORR SOMETHING.

TIP5: ADD ONS. YOU SHOULD HAVE SOMETHING TO YOUR EYES THT MAKE IT YOUR EYES ONLY. MY STYLE IS LIQUID GLITTER EYELINER ALONG MY BLACK LIQUID LINER.

2.Dont be showing all you got, scene girls are supposed to Look innocent
3.light colors with dark hair or dark colors with light hair
4.avoid alot of dark makeup on bottom lid, you dont want to look like a hooker..

Is you wanna be scene, there are a few things you need to know. Being scene isn't just something you do when you are bored. And you don't automatically get the hang of it right away. It takes time and effort. It's not easy, but it's not impossible either. Being scene is just being unique, being the person you were afraid to be because of all the judgemental people around you. But if you are going to be scene, you have to be ready to face all the hateful stares and glares, comments and whispers, especially if scene people are rare in your area. Also, scene kids are DEFFINATELY NOT SHY!!! So you can't be scene, then be afraid to do anything fun or adventurous. Take chances and try new things. Don't be afraid to be confident and show people what you're made of. Don't be afraid to stand out in the crowd or do things that "normal" people would never do. DON'T BE AFRAID TO BE YOURSELF!!

$$How To Become "Scene"$$

Well, the first thing really.. it your personality. You don't have to change yours.. but most of the time "Scene Girls" personalities are bubbly, funny, crazy, and shy. Weird, combination? Yes, but that's the point. You can color your hair crazy colors if you want to, but you don't have to, for instance, mine's just brown. Skinny jeans and tutus are really helpful, espically if they're colorful. Ballet Flats, Vans, and Converse are worn a lot. Band tee's or T-Shirts with cute saying on them are very popular. Invader Zim, Gloomy Bear, Hello Kitty, and Miffy stuff are a must. Big, but not trashy jewlery is always pretty. Adding your own twist to things like these, make you unique.. like a scarf, or bandana, or a tiara like me. ;)
You can tease your hair if you want to, but it's not nessicary. Bright make it also a must. The music you listen to is really up to you, but bands like BMTH, or BOTDF, or NeverShoutNever are good starts.

I'm Scene and I'll never change for anyone. And that's pretty much what ever scene queen is like. I don't think someone could really be scene if they weren't confident or had self-esteem issues. Anyway. To be scene, you will need a really scene name. For example, Selena Sabotage, Alicia Anatomy Vera Violence Penny Poison, Izzi Idolise excetera. You will need some bright classy make-up, especially eye-liners and eye shadows, foundations and a rouge. You will need the cute scene clothes and the radiating confidence to go with it. Idolise the scene queens, trust and truly devote yourself to the scene image. Being scene isn't just like being goth emo or chav or whatever. It's a lifestyle, and if your going to be scene, your going to need the attitude and the reputation to live up to. To be scene your going to have to make a lot of sarcrafices, no more long blonde au naturel hair. IT'S bright pink layers with a blue fringe or some crazy stuff like that. Being scene is a devotion, a life devotation. Do your home-work. What's Harajuku? Where is scene from? Originality is the key. COPY** is probably the worst thing you could do. Make 'scene' your own style, make it you.

All the scene kids know where its at, from their bad ass hair to their rad ass sneakers (or perhaps cheetah heels) from their hello kitty hair straighteners to their diamond necklaces. The world is intimidated by the self confidence of these kids. They're teased and harassed but they don't give a damn. They're themselves. There are many similarities between scene and "emo". but they are very different. Scene is about color and beauty, and standing out in the crowd in a GOOD way. Emo is about death, destruction, depression and dark colors. Which sounds better and more inviting to you?Scene Queens are here to set a GOOD example and leave their mark on the world. Being scene, you have a right to be random, bright, different, unique, and of course beautiful. In my opinion, "emos" are all posers. Emo should only be a genre of music.Wearing all black and acting depressed all the time, when most of the time you're really not, is stupid. If you're not an uphappy person, dont act unhappy. Just be yourself or you are FAKE. Don't have a fake personality. To be scene there is no certain personality or lingo you need have. Every scene girl is different and amazing in their own way, whether they use the words "rad" "rawr" or "stellar" or not. i personally use none of them. They don't define who you are. They don't make you SCENE.
Also, calling yourself scene, does not make you a poser. There is nothing wrong with labels, they are way to describe who someone is. The thing that is a problem is the stereotypes that come along with a label. Some of the stereotypes that some along with the label "scene" are: that we all use slang from the 1980's, that we abbrieviate everything, that we ALL have a myspace, that we all go to raves, and that we are just emos. These stereotypes are not true. I use no slang, i use only the same abbrieviations that most people use like lol, brb, k, and nm. I have never been to a rave.And i know that we are ALL deffinitely not emo. But the same thing goes for emos, a lot of the stereotypes that go along with them aren't true, for example, most emos DO NOT cut themselves, a lot of them are the happiest people ever. I hate how people get scene and emo mixed up. We need to stand up for ourselves and show people who we really are and show them that we are NOT emo. There are very clear differences between
scene and emo and people need to know what they are. So share your knowledge and let people know the true facts, and about our unique and special style. So everyone can appriciate it the way we do.

Haii I'm Gabby Breakneck and I'm 15 years old. What I love most about scene is the fact that you either love it or hate it. There isn't an in-between with people. Look up scene on urban dictionary, and people trash it left and right. They say scene love dying their hair, and taking pictures of themselves, and TAWKIN LIKK DIZ :D. But take a look at some of the other cliques around us, the girls and boys that wear hollister and all those big name brands, they dye their hair! They take lots of pics of themselves! Why does scene get singled out? Because people don't like when others are different. But being different is what makes life fun! Don't think of scene as ONE SPECIFIC TYPE of dress/makeup/hair. Scene is just you being yourself. Do whatever you wanna do! Stand out! Be different! That's all scene really is! Without the big bright hair, tight clothes or fun personality, how would we stand out? We'd all look the same.

Scene to me means your own style... Anyone can be scene, its just kind of about the style. Some girl with pigtails blowing bubbles in her gum, wearing a school skirt and no makeup. Well that isnt really scene. I have alot of "scene" friends. And I think that just about everyone can be scene if they tried. I don't think its fair how people call people wannabes or posers? I mean if you are calling them a wannabe or a poser, your just setting yourself up to be the exact same thing. Plus emo and scene are totally different. Emo is pretty much the music type, like death metal. But to fo' sure be a scene person here are some tips. -have good hair... you dont want it too be totally fried and falling out.-straighten it, but i use heat defense so it doesnt hurt my hair.-wear colorful makeup and colorful clothes. -act nice, people dont want to be like scene girls are nasty and mean.-get a cool name for your friends to call you by. For example, HunterHeartlessAnd thte last thing is to just have fun with it. Dont be affraid to show off your look. Yes people may look but who cares! I all ways get complement's for my over teased hair, ten times too much makeup, over the top with accessories. people say its just a phase or style, buts its not its just me if i didnt dye my hair spend hours getting ready, all ways swagging up my outfit's then i wouldnt feel right.
