Being scene is for people who like to be original. Or maybe for people who just don't fit in. Being scene lets your fun, creative &original mind have some fun! Scene kids are usually full of color. Bright colored skinny jeans with bright shirts! Also bright colored pony bead bracelets are very scene. Also arm bands. I prefer to tease my hair but you don't have to. just try to find a cut thats original and maybe sorta' different that fits your personality. You don't have to die your hair and whatnot. i think it looks amazin' but i prefer not to. Also..bright colored makeup is a must! Being scene is pretty much just making a scene with your looks! But don't be stuck up or mean! ..most people when they think of scene kids they think of kids that are jerks. Well prove them wrong! People are always surprised when a scene kid walks over to them and is nice. So be nice! &Be bright, crazy &original! &most of all ..just be yourself. :)

No matter what you do or where you go, there will always be somebody that’s going to criticize you or put you down. Don’t fret because its not your fault. Some people are just never satisfied. So that’s why its important to put yourself first before other people. Because if you don’t they will walk all over you. You don’t need to make them happy. Make yourself happy. Just smile at those haters and be kind. There’s no need to be rude. Don’t be scene because its just ‘the thing to do’. make sure you do it because you want to. Just remember, stay kind ..but not so kind to where people will walk all over you and try and push you around. Just make your to stand your ground. Also..being scene, you want to make sure your original. Don’t steal everyone else’s ideas. Its cool to get inspired but be creative and have fun.

I could express my hate of hypocrisy for hours. I Despise it with a capital D. I know that there is a bit of hypocrisy in each and everyone of us, even I have a bit of this shame. But i hate the fact that someone tells a certain somebody not to say/do or whatever, but the next thing you know, that someone does it. I hate it. But i guess we are only humans, and it is our nature to be greedy and selfish at some points in our lives. And i do realize i am being very hypocrite because i'm talking about it and i do become a bit of a hypocrite at times. But i try not to be most of the time... Most people say scene kids are hypocrites. Well, obviously, again, this is a sign of hypocrisy, cause we are all hypocrites after all. not just the scensters.

I believe, that no one should fit some mold, and people say i'm not scene because i don't always wear a band tee, but BEING SCENE isn't about band tee's and skinny jeans, it's about being who you are and not caring what anyone thinks about you and how you act or dress. So,here is the deal.
As far as being "scene" goes..i always found myself trying to aim to be scene...and..well.It eventually worked.But i still didn't feel as if i was being myself until i added my own twist.I just started being myself,instead of trying for a superficial cookie cutter scene girl,i was trying to be.I was labeling myself,and actually back then i was what you'd consider a poser...i still listened to all that country and crap (not that it matters) but,i was wearing bands i didn't know...didn't tease my hair all that well..and cared WAY too much about what people thought.So i finally figured out that,hey!I seriously need to quit caring what people think and start being who i know i can be.So i start listening to new music,that i now love...and i started watching youtube tutorials..and stuuf like that.So now,my hair looks awesome when i tease it,and i'm actually being myself,and i do not care about what people think,now.So a tip,always be cautious that if you make drastic changes really quick,you will get called a poser,and probably will get made fun of,if you don't do the changes subtle..but you know,it doesn't really matter.Just make sure that you look at least descent and that you are making yourself "scene" to the best of your ability.I love,and cherish who i am.And you should too!Haters are your biggest fans.Wear colored skinnies!A couple two-twos here and there!Ballet flats!Exotic dresses!Tease your hair five feet tall.Just always be nice..no one likes a bitch.Be as nice as possible,,,,but not creepy.Haha,i wear fake eyelashes sometimes too...and some crazy eyemakeup...i'm always changing up stuff.Just be the best you can be.And if your friends don't except your changes..(which HAS happened to me)...especially best friends..spend little time making them understand your changes...and if they don't end up understanding..then they aren't real friends:/

2.I don't really wear name brands all that much..and if i do they are jeans and that is it..it separates me from the preps.

4.If you can't wear that much make up...it's okay.It isn't the end of the world..but you need to find ways to enhance your eyes,and natural skin tone.
5.Listen to good music...explore different people's tastes and be open minded..
6.Ask me any questions..i have lots more to say than this...but can't fit everything into this tiny box:3\

emo and scene are so different. its funny, everyone amuses that they are the same. they are not even close. i promise. but here is the difference:Scene kids are usually "preps gone emo". The scene kids like bright, flash imagery (Neon colors, hearts, stars, and diamonds), retro style (old video games and old fashion), and (what they think is) underground music. They like to think that they're random and nonconformist. While that may be true, it loses its fun after everyone starts to do it. They like to call themselves HxC (hardcore punk), Br00tal (self explanatory) and Sxc (straight edge). The scene kids usually get really uppity and offended if there is another scene kid that has similar style as them, and like to say that they're "copying their original style". Emo is usually darker, less loud and obnoxious, and more sensitive and emotional. But however not all of them cut themselves some do others don't and some are emotional others are not. Scene kids and emos have very little in common, but often get grouped together by others because of their similar, offbeat haircuts and fashion. they are not even close.

When your a "scene" kids people are going to judge you! Like mad but if you don't let them get to you their going to be like "Hey what I'm saying dosen't even bother them I just going to leave them alone", and then before you know it the person who was picking on you is going to ask you "Hey where did you get that outfit"! So hold your head up really really high and don't look back down! You should just be yourself and not dress based on everyone's comments and stuff. Being "Scene" is a way of self expression. There will always be people who make fun of you and criticize you for how you look and the way you dress no matter how you are. I know many people make fun of me everyday for the way I look and the way I dress, but being "scene" is being able to dress however you want and not caring about what people say. It's being able to tell people to f*** off because that is who you are and you don't care what you think. Many people think "Scene Queens" are a bunch of attention whores and are just complete b****es that think they are better then each other, but they aren't. They're just girls who aren't scared about what people think of them and aren't scared to express themselves and are confident about how they are no matter what. That's what being "scene" is all about.

How to be confident like a scene queen
Everyone is beautiful in their own way and you always got to remember that no two people are exactly alike. So be yourself, never copy anyone! You are unique and you must realize that.
If you haven't been able to feel confident about your picture taken of you, try these things:
stand in front of a mirror before you take the picture and check the angle from your phone or camera, you might be surprised what an angle can do for your look.
Try editing your pictures by changing them to black and white, or changing the color exposure.
If you're afraid of people staring at you weirdly or what people say, always remember that people that make fun of you or talk about you are you're biggest fans.
Don't forget that you must always stand tall and proud, us scene girls never let anyone's words hurt us because we know we are beautiful.
If you feel like your make up just isn't doing you justice, try spicing it up. Try darker eyeliner, or darker lip liner! More eyeshadow is good too. Personally I love brown eye shadow.
