I personally think every "scene" girl should have her own original style. c: Of course the typical look is poofy black hair & a ton of black eyeliner. Haii I'm Gabby Breakneck and I'm 15 years old. What I love most about scene is the fact that you either love it or hate it. There isn't an in-between with people. Look up scene on urban dictionary, and people trash it left and right. They say scene love dying their hair, and taking pictures of themselves, and TAWKIN LIKK DIZ :D. But take a look at some of the other cliques around us, the girls and boys that wear hollister and all those big name brands, they dye their hair! They take lots of pics of themselves! Why does scene get singled out? Because people don't like when others are different. But being different is what makes life fun! Don't think of scene as ONE SPECIFIC TYPE of dress/makeup/hair. Scene is just you being yourself. Do whatever you wanna do! Stand out! Be different! That's all scene really is! Without the big bright hair, tight clothes or fun personality, how would we stand out? We'd all look the same.

As Blood On The Dance Floor put it, "haters make me famous." But just because they make you famous doesn't mean it doesn't hurt still. We're scene girls: we're supposed to be super-confident and not give a damn. But no matter how had you can try, at the end of the day, it can eat you up inside.
So how do you deal with it? Well, e all know that way. Ya know, what everyone SAYS you're doing? But in reality we all know that we don't all do it. I mean some people do, but not everyone. So how else do we deal? Ignoring it is the best way. But what else is there to do? Try this:
1) quote your favorite band and say "WHAT!" to lay it hard :P
2) Tell them you're original and you have that
3) Insult the way they talk. I mean, do they even SAY the letter T?

Scene is being yourself. scene kids are usually seen with: skinnies, Chucks, Vans, flats, bright coloured hair. We always have a way to personalize our look. Scene kids love music. Bright tshirts, bright shoes bright accesories are where it's at. Sport the graphic t's and beanies, tight pants and fingerless gloves. scene kids are just the kids that aren't afraid to be individuals. Induviduality plays a big part. Teasin combs, Straighners, Hairspray, Jagged Layers, awesome makeup, eyeliner, Different hair colour every week, sharpie markers to write all over EVERYTHING. Fully take on the fact that you are an induvidual. It's th best quality a person can have.. People may look at you in different ways. **How I Do Scene Hair** (Long/Median Hair)
Things you'll need:
1. Straightener
2. Comb/Brush
3. Short Choppy Layers
4. Bows (optional)
5. Mirror
6. Heat protection spray
7. Blow dryer
Step 2:
Wash your hair. Greasy hair does not tease very well:/
Step 2:
Blow dry it. Teasing and Straightening your hair can seriously damage it
Step 3:
Straighten your whole head! (and I put in heat resistance stuff but that's optional)
Step 4:
Start Teasing! Take a strand/section of hair and take your comb, and move it up and down. Put hair spray after every section is tease, or it wont stay. Keep doing that with other sections. (The bigger you want it the longer you want to tease it)
Step 5:
Take your brush and lightly brush the top layer of the tease (don't brush all of it because you will TOTALLY ruin your tease)
Step 6:
Put a layer of hair spray over all your hair just in case.. but that's also optional(:
Step 7:
You may want to put accessories (bows, hair extensions, etc)

Hey I'm Naturally JaNaeNAe! I'm not like the other girls out there yeah you here that all the time but I really am. I hate to wear make up but I love the "scene" lifestyle it's amazing. Everyone is amazingly Original. I do not wear make up. I'm very bubbly. I'm one of the weird kids at school I don't fit in with anyone I'm my own person and I don't care what people think of me cause all my life I have been told to wear this or do that but I put my foot down and I said that's enough so I NOW I do what I want and wear what I like cause in the end it does not matter what anyone thinks of me cause everyone has there own style :) just come to mind to who ever reads this Be yourself and Don't care what people think cause its not what you would want lots of love,

Hello, dear population of scenequeens (and kings!), fellow friends, haters (lovers?), and wannabees! To who ever cares, I'm an outgoing, hands-on kinda person that loves to have fun;3. My article HAS too be about why i decided to become scene,
i'll put it in point form so I don't bore everyone with a paragraph
I decided to become scene because,
- Scene people not only express themselves but they express in ways others can't we have bright hair piercings or tattoo's c'mon what's more awesome than that!
- I didn't become just some random poser and take a durastic change i've been working on my style for 2 years now and finally i'm starting to get the hang out it.
- I just absoulutly love all scene queens they are very artistic and SO am I , so it worked perfectly.
- & the clotheing scene kids wear is outta this world. I love dressing up without haveing people ask wtf am I wearing BCZ I have the "scene look" it's obviously i'll wear what I want ;]
