How to do scene hair
1. Put top and middle sections of your hair in a pony tail or bun. Pin up bangs so they don’t get in your face.
2. Take a hair brush or comb and tease the top of your hair, by the scalp. Move the hair brush as if you were brushing your hair the opposite direction.
3. Spray with hair spray, and brush over the whole thing lightly.
4. Take your hair out of the ponytail and take a little bit of more hair out. Repeat teasing.
5. Do this until you get all your hair teased.
6. Take bangs out of the pin; straighten your hair downward or to the side. Spray with hair spray.
7. Brush the whole thing over lightly.
Ways to do scene hair
Since you probably have curly hair, you are going to have to find ways to straightening it. You can use a straightener to get the job done but the problem with this is that if you use it too much you will just end up causing damage to your hair and destroying it. I recommend that you leave at least one day of the week with your natural curly hair. This way your hair will get a chance to be natural and regenerate.
The first step in straightening curly hair is to scrounge it and put it off to the side. This way it will be a lot easier to manage and work with. The next step is to put gel and hairspray into your hair so that it holds. You can also try blow drying your hair as this will make it much easier to work with and straighten. I always blow dry my hair regardless of how long or straight it happens to be on a given day.
The alternative option that you can try using for straightening curly scene hair is to get it chemically straightened when you get your haircut at the hairdressers. The benefit of this is that your hair will remain straight for a fairly long period of time. It will make it much easier to work with and will require less work from you every day.
