Scene, often mistaken for emo, is similar, but still not emo. For one scenes don't think life is dark and gloomy, in fact most of us have bubbly personalities. Were also all about colors, i mean where obsessed with hell kitty and shes all about colors. We usually have big poofy hair with long extensions and different colors. Are genre of music is usually metal, techno, punk, and occasionally pop (no offense but it makes my blood curdle to even mention me say the word "pop" lol) this is what i think scene is and will always be, where the prettier, cuter, and hipper versions of emo, go scenesters!

Everywhere you go, people will judge you. If you decide to have a unique style, people WILL want to judge you even more. All they want is a reaction. At first, it's quite annoying, but after time you're used to it and you just let them talk about you. All that matters is if you're happy with who you are. Nobody else matters except for you. If you love who you are and people try to change you, don't let them! No matter what, because you're better than that. Either way, just remember you're gorgeous. If you stand up for yourself and others, and tell the haters that you don't care what they say, and that you love who you are. Then I respect you. If they're wasting their time on you, trying to make your life miserable you obviously mean something to them, or they wouldn't even pay attention to you. Just remember, no one can tell you who you are.

What "scene" means to me is just being your own crazy, unique self. Sometimes people will try to judge you. But seriously, if they can't accept you for who you are then they don't matter. So just be what you want. I live in a town full of farmers and rednecks and preppy cowgirls. haha. They don't always exactly like how I look. Then again, there are other people who love my indivduality and decide to get their hair cut like mine or wear skinny jeans. If you like being scene, then do it for you. Don't let other people's opinions change you.
Chantel Celestial
When being scene you should be really confident or at least come off confident but not narcissistic or arrogant etc. Its best if you think your very pretty and make sure people know that you find yourself attractive but not better than everyone else. Don't try and change yourself 100% because then you'll be called a poser. Be who you are and stay true. Mix the scene style with yourself and you'll be a real scene girl.

Hair and make up are the two most important things to a scene kid. To do my hair I spray protection serum and start straightening it. Since my hair is uber thick I straighten my bottom layer and go up. I straighten it pin straight for best results. When I’m done straightening I spray my roots with mega hold hair spray. I use a teasing brush and tease my second layer first. I tease a section and spray it with hair spray. After teasing that layer I spray it with hair spray and move on to the next layer. I do this until my hair is high as the sky. I spray finishing spray all over my hair, add a bow and my hair is perfect. For my make up I normally only use cover up, eyeliner, and mascara. I put the cover up everywhere including my eyelids. I use pencil eyeliner on my waterline. Above the pencil I put on liquid eyeliner filling the space to my crease. I make thick lines under my lower lash line with liquid eyeliner. I put mascara on my top and lower eyelashes. And there you have it. That’s my hair and make up routine.

No matter what you do, or how hard you try, you're never good enough for anyone. I want to try to be good enough. I know no one really cares about me, and I want to change peoples' thoughts about me. People say I'm not really who I say I am, but as my name shows, I'm loveless. I have no one to love. Because no one loves me. I'm not pretty enough, or smart enough for people to love me. I know this may sound stupid, but if I were a site model, I feel like I'd be loved. I've never seen a scene kid with glasses, I want to change that thought. I mean yeah scene kids wear glasses all the time, but that's for looks. Have you guys ever thought that maybe a scene kid without makeup is better than one with makeup? That is correct I don't wear makeup, not even cover up. I'm sick of all these scene kids wearing makeup. I don't even do my hair, I just brush it, and dye it. Maybe trying to change the world by doing this is stupid, but I'm gonna try anyways, hell if I don't get it, but trying is good. I hope you guys accept me, accept me for who I am. Thank you :D

Well Haii there :)

Where I’m from, its a pretty small place so people here aren't very open to new things. They tend to all look the same and just dress like everyone else. Kinda reminds me of sheep if you know what I mean XD
So as you might be able to guess I’ve been label as the “The Emo”, “The Scene Kid”, “The Fag”, “The Weird Kid” Just because I have the guts to be different and express myself in how I dress and the way I act. Honestly I hate stereotypes, I just want to be ME <3
Okay so being scene you might get criticized a lot, but that’s cause people believe all these stereotypes, you just have to show them what we are really like :D They might stare and call you names but never let them put you down or change you. Just be yourself and live how you want to cause life is WAY too short to stop and change just to please others.
Also remember, not all scene girls/guys are the same. We are all different in our own ways and that’s what make us the unique people were are. So don't think just because you see someone else with make up or a hairstyle in one way that you have to look the same to be scene. Its the attitude and personality that makes you scene.
But okay I’m rambling on now, so I’ll finish.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder that is one thing i always strongly believed in. do not judge unless you want to be judged. no one has the right to tell you that you are ugly the only person who can judge whether you are ugly or pretty is yourself. never let the silly comments of haters get to you they are truly jealous. never run from your problems you will only find a different set of problems because no matter where your at there is drama and critisizing. i will be the first to admit i do critize and judge some people but it is not a problem of mine. keep confidence dont show your body its shows how little confidence you do have and that will get you no where. keep in mind there will be someone judging and critisizing you every second so give them something great to critisize with good comments. every one is beautiful in a way whether that be personality or looks and maybe even both.be carful npt to seem conceited it will only look terrible because those who are conceited are the ones with the most insecurities.we have to have a middle where it balances out to show that yes we have a brain and yes we have common sense enough to not make ourselves look stupid by being to confident.

No matter where you are, people will criticize you. There will always be someone who doesn't like you; it's impossible to please everyone. You need to learn to embrace your flaws. It's important to know who you are and know what you want. Remember, most people hate because they're jealous or hating makes them feel powerful. Stand out to be confident. Don't ever become scene just to please your peers. Also if you are going to be a scene kid in a place where they are extremely rare, be prepared for the many angry glares and discrimination you will get from other people. However, be careful not to become overconfident. Nobody wants to interact with someone who puts them down or acts like a jerk, but don't let people walk all over you either. You need to know just the right balance, you absolutly shuld be nice. People say scene kids are.....

In the town I live, there arent any scenes there, so constantly i get made fun of, but i dont care. My mom doesnt approve of it, and i constantly get in trouble from her, but i dont care about that either. I dont think I dress "scene" but i like my style. I always have to try to stand out because it would be a normal world if everyone was the same. Ive have been called a "non christian" my whole life because of my looks, but i know who I am, and so do my friends and they back me up and help me. In life, not everyone is going to like you, and thats okay, no matter who you are, its going to be the same way. Just be confident in who you are, but dont turn into a jerk, then no one will like you if you are already branded wierd, like me. People avoid me because they know im scene and they think i cut myself so they are freaked out around me even though i tell them i dont.

I honestly have no idea what to write here but i'm sure i can use this to rant about various things. I am not Christian , nor am i Atheist . I do not like when others try to push their religion on me and i ,in return, will not do so to them. I have heard many people talking about all scenes being the same ,with the long , poofy hair and hello kitty , with a lot of eyeliner but i have noticed that even the ones with the long , poofy hair , add their own style , colors , and accessories! We have different makeup styles and colors , and we do not dress the same. I show my emotions through my appearance as many people do. If i wanna dress in a rainbow tu-tu that is exactly what i will do!!! Everyone is beautiful and deserves to be loved and nobody can say otherwise and give proof to back it up. When others tell you that you aren't worth anything and you are just like everyone else , remember that you had to have been put where you are somehow and you have friends , family , and even strangers willing to help(: When someone criticizes me I am as polite as possible back and eventually they get to know me and feel bad for what they have done. It is an overall win-win situation just by simply being nice to someone that treats you like shit xD I think we should do everything in our power to make ourselves known to the world so when we leave it we have some1 to say something nice about us. In my freetime i like to read , dance(: , write songs , books , poetry , etc , sing , and party <3 I have a very laid back , relaxing personality but i am also loud , spontaneous , and fun to be around :D I love meeting new people and making others feel comfortable . I am done writing about life now :) I'm happy to join SceenQueens.com (;

What Being Scene means to me:
Today’s world seems to be going up in flames as appearance takes over the once so “stepford” lives we all used to live. The world has changed to accept difference and capture the true beauty of originality. The scene life is the true beauty of creativity and originality to the max. When people discribe scene, it becomes too much explained as a style. But being scene is more than the clothes and the looks, its an attitude and as much of a life style.
It's how you live up to your full potential with everything. From the your beauty of make-up, clothes, and hair to the very own personality you let run wild. The heart of a scene girl is always finding new ways to turn heads and make a statement of who she is. That's what makes scene so unique. The fact that not a single one of us is the same. Each style sets off an explosion of personal views and beliefs ranging every scene girl to their own creative look.
Living the scene life isn't extremely easy though. While most girls strive for perfection in their looks and get complimented every step of the way, a scene girl is always ready for battle when it comes to comments. A scene girl can spend hours looking lovely, get called a freak and KNOW she is hot. A scene has to be ready for negatives and be able to hold their head up high and know their inner and outer blooming beauty. Scene's attitude brings punches of personal belief and mindful arguments.
While being a scene is never easy and it's a harsh climb to the top, the personality and style outshines with its unique sparkle. Like a snow flake, not one scene is alike. Always new, unique, attractive, and can melt and freeze anyone.

Ah, the joys of life. Love, hatred, violence, fear, courage, labels, criticism.. We all live with it. It's the way things are. We're all the same, sure. But our personalities, clothes, hair, and make up all vary. I honestly don't label myself. I don't go around saying I'm a sceney beeney or emo. That's just not me but all around me people I don't know are labeling me, judging me, criticizing me by the way I look and the music I listen to. At first I was overwhelmed and pretty mad. But, once I thought about it I really could care less what people think. I don't need to impress anyone, just need to live my life the way I want.
There's no need to be ashamed of my body, the way I look or how I act. You can go a lot farther in life with confidence. Who cares if people say you're ugly or fat? It's okay. who said it was necessarily a bad thing? No one did. Just smile and walk away. Everyone is beautiful in their own way.

My idea of 'scene style' is being YOURSELF. Not following the path that everybody else chooses. I'm not doing this to be popular, or famous, or anything like that. I'm doing this because I'm into the general style. And because I want to do it.

I wish I had a normal life,
One initiated with loving tender care,
Two parents gathered in one large house,
Who would talk together without a glare,
I would sit at the table and watch them,
Smile as they laugh and play,
Like little children untouched by the world,
And I would be just as happy every day,
My brother and sister would live with us,
We would be one big happy family,
Living life, like we should, without a care,
Because life is good as long as we are happy.

Yooooooo. I'm Amelia Amplified. I don't really have much to saaay, but I wanted to join the site xD I have hair dye in my hair right now. Manic Panic Shocking Blue (: I was gonna have purple in there, too. But it wasn't showing up well. My hair has been, purple (bangs and under hair), blue, purple & turquoise (bangs) bleached, pink, (bangs) red (bangs), and now blue again.
Story Time: So I was at the mall with my cousin yesterday, and some random scene dude went up to me & gave me a hug 'cause he loved me hair. xD it was great. He smelled like Axe xD then some other loser guys whistled at us as we were walking to Sephora. Which was funny.
ANYWAY I'm getting off topic. Basically I LOOOOVE LOVE LOVE doing hair & makeup. I dye my friends' hair a lot. I also love to tease my hair (: it just makes me feel so badass xD also it's just freakin cool. I love the scene style (:

Well, I’ve never had friends like me, that’s why I feel a little different and lonely, and this website is everything that I’ve ever dreamed. I’m from Durango, Mexico and here is almost impossible find scene kids… people here do not know how to react to it differently, not like them, so it has been difficult to live the way I like, my parents, my brothers, my friends and everyone around me disapprove of the way I dress, my hair, my makeup and my way of being, but the truth is that it has ceased to matter. I realized recently that I should not let others tell me how to live.
When I started to know the scene kids, I realized I belonged there, and many must think that just dress like them for fashion, or admire them, but I've always wanted to be so, even without knowing what means to be a scene girl.
Most of the time people call me fake or poser, but I'm not copying the style of the others scene girls , I'm just being myself. And thanks to this new group I can do what ever I could: be just me.

Soo... I dont know what to put up here?
Who I am?
What I do?
About myself?
I. Dont. Know.
Personally, I dont like labels so I wouldnt call myself scene, but all my friends say I am and stuff.... So yeah,
I hate stereotypical people.
They bug me.
I hate fighting. I will walk away from people who are fighting or people that are trying to fight from me 'cause it makes me sick to my stomache. I want to say I'm quiet.... But that would be a BIG FAT LIE (;
Music is my life.
