Being a scene kid.. Isn't about saying you're one.. It's about being original.. You have the wild hair.. Wear band tees.. Skinny Jeans.. You don't have to dress that way to be scene.. You have to dress differently than others.. Cause you "make a scene".. But being scene to me is mostly about the music.. I'm a huge metal fan.. I listen to about 200 different bands.. We buy there latest merch.. We stalk down there shows until we find them playing here.. Being scene is the reason you like to stand out in a crowd.

If everoine became more open and themselves the world would be full of color and life, right now the world is a coloring book meant to be spalleterd with scene and color. How do people become scene? Well many people ask that question. Scene , in literal dictionary terms, means “setting trends.” A lot of people think that scene means emo. Sure if your scene you can be emo. But people take scene way too far. The real confused people say that scene is just emo. They make fun of them in horrible ways. A lot of scenes are emo. We dress like emo but we are not. Maybe people just like the look. That’s fine! We shouldn’t be treated the way other people treat us. We like to color our hair and become a different person. We don’t want to fit in.

Scene is the most amazing style I have ever come across. Though it may not be as well known like goth or emo but that's only because it's new. It's unique and beutiful with the hairstyles and makeup designs that make me want to be a pro with it in the future. I love to tease my hair and put on eyeliner and eye shadow. I love my skinny jeans and super high top converse. My friend who is a July Model taught me all about scene when I first got started and then I went on my own to learn more about it. I feel like a pro with my hair and makeup and clothes. I'm not scene, but I am with the scene style. It's not a label but it's a way of life. I want to go on with this way of life until I get too old to.

Scene.... Well to me Scene is the way you let your personality shine through. A lot of Scene girls have the big puffy hair with bows in their hair and eccentric make-up but in reality it is more than that. I feel that it’s a way for girls to get there unique style out. Sometimes the style you choose isn't the best but that should never discourage you from at least trying. Who cares what others think, just continue to be you. Most of the time others don't even know what they are talking about and might also be the ones that need to take a look in the mirror of reality and hopefully not break it. It's your look and it's what makes you feel happy. Remember don't change yourself just because of what others think.

Also if you are going to be a scene kid in a place where they are extremely rare, be prepared for the many angry glares and discrimination you will get from other people. However, be careful not to become overconfident. Nobody wants to interact with someone who puts them down or acts like a jerk, but don't let people walk all over you either. You need to know just the right balance, you absolutly shuld be nice. People say scene kids are.....

No matter what People will always judge you for who you are. But hell no be who you are. People do things like that due to insercurity and they have to make them selfs feel better. Just be who you are who cares if you like to make your hair all crazy or if you act funky in public its how you express yourself and how you know it makes you feel safe. Don't change for no one be who you wanna be and hey you'll get somewhere unlike the jealous freaks.

What scene is to me is that you must be cofident and have no one try to tell you who you are or what u need to be. It also is to stand up for youself when others let u down i have been made fun of for being "weird" and "unnormal" but its somthing called being me and thats what i am aculy i cant beleve in typeing this right now ive been sooo afraid of saying somthing like this for years and now i am. Being scene in my school everyone thinks im emo goth or a raver aculy ive only been to a rave twice and when i did i hade to go to the hospital for 1 someone taped my drink (Dont worry i wasint drinking achoal) And i broke my leg. I dont dress "scene" so that ill get more attention, or that people will think im 'soooooooo pretty'. I dress this way because it makes ME happy. So what if I like having pink hair, peircings, hello kitty out the butt :P and bright colored clothes? Thats just who I am, and im proud of it. People may call me a "scene fag" or whatever, it doesnt effect me :) Im happy with the way i look and im not gonna change it for anyone. Scene... It's for me a style, a lifestyle, the art of beeing yourself and show you to others in the best way. Often we photo us and upload them on the internet, but we don't do that to make someone angry or somewhat... no it's just to show who and HOW we are. In my opinion its just to say 'Hay, be yourself, show us how u are. We did and so don't hide yourself behind a mask!' But the beauty and astetic must be there, from us :D thats what SCENE seems to me :)
I won't say I'm any style of. But If someone would ask me I would say 'I'm nothing, but if you want me to, so I'm scene :P'

First off, im from a small place where scene kids are super rare to see; there are only a few scene kids that actually do have enough confidence in themselves to go out and not care what other people think. I am proud to be one of those people. i love make-up and scene make up is incredible ! i've had my hair only 5 colors so far, and im hoping to get it more experienced in the hair dying process. I've been bullied about my hair and my looks, but it hasnt brought me down! And it never will. i cant stand people with HUGE ego's, i dont think its very cool "/ i respect everyone and every style <3 but its what we feel about ourselves that matters the most right ? and i love being a scene kid (: so anyways, i hope this article isnt too much, and i hope you enjoy my pictures as well ^_^

Judgement is a flaw in everyone...judgeing is the natural ability that everyone does weather they like it or not. But becoming who you are and finding who your true self is , is the common aspect in life.!

Scene? Scene is a way of life!
Scene people don't take crap from others. They live there life to the max. They dress and act, how they want, They don't take crap from anyone. They are fun and outgoing. They have no limits. They do what they when, when ever they want.
They all have different styles too. I have not seen one that was the same yet. Some are similar, but none are the same. Scene is a trend, only talented people can pull it off to the full exstinct. They all have different music styles too. Some listen to rap, some rock, and some screamo. It really depeneds on their background. Mine is rough, and tough. Rap, and oddniss. xD People have totally different styles, even if they seem the same.
