Often times people compare emo/scene to goth. This comparison is quite off in reality. Emo/scene is more of liking music and style while goth is a way of life. But Being Emo/Scene isn't about wearing a lot of eyeliner or bright eyeshadow. Its skin deep. Its about the music. While the emo/scene music varies from Blood On The Dance Floor to Chelsea Grin It doesn't matter. Brookelle Bones, Audrey Kitching, Vanna Venom, those are scene beauties. Us scene kids call the inspiration. We don't like labels either. We are who we are not what media wants. So STFU if you don't like it or drop dead!

Although people will call you names and always criticize you where ever you are, it's important not be over-confident. No one wants be around someone you acts like a celebrity. Of course, you need to know who you are and what you want. Don't let anyone take you down. So much people hate just to feel powerful to have another "new victim", but just let them do what they want to do. We don't need anyone's approval to justify our lifes. We all have a fire burning inside of us and they can try EVERYTHING to put it down, but as long as we know who we are and who we want to be, they have no chance.

It's important to know who you are and know what you want. Remember, most people hate because they're jealous or hating makes them feel powerful. Stand out to be confident. Don't ever become scene just to please your peers. Also if you are going to be a scene kid in a place where they are extremely rare, be prepared for the many angry glares and discrimination you will get from other people. However, be careful not to become overconfident. Nobody wants to interact with someone who puts them down or acts like a jerk, but don't let people walk all over you either. You need to know just the right balance, you absolutly shuld be nice.

Being a scen queen can be hard. Even when you're a black one too. For black scene queens, almost everything, well yes everything, is hard. Most of the time, our hair won't cooperate, so hair is mega hrad to deal with. And clothes are easy but wearing them out and being questioned about why we're scene and not some ghetto black girl like girls in NY. Even at school, we get questioned and juged but in the end, we still look fabulous.

But i Prefer medium cause its easy and long enought to work with. *note find what best fits your face cause you don't want to look silly in the end of it

Let’s see, scene kids. They’re labeled as brutal kids who like to spread rumors and be mean to others. But if people unmasked scene kids they’d know underneath all the bows, big hair, and skinny jeans scene kids are some of the nicest people you can meet. Scene kids are just people who like to stand out because they have the will and power to do it unlike others who are scared of being criticized and ridiculed for being different. Because of this many people judge scene kids because many people are just scared to be different so they lock up their uniqueness and throw away the key. But, I have taken a stand as a scene kid to unlock my uniqueness and be different.

Being scene is not about being mean, being scene is about being nice and being who you are. ALot of people think that scene people are posers, Most of them rnt. yes there are some posers out their but thats just because they dint know what direction to go. Does this mean we should be mean to them and call them a poser and talk about them behing their back? No that you should not do you should become friends with them and try to help them find theur way. Being scene to me is about being the beautiful person you are and imbrasing it. and i hope every one sees this the way i do.

Fakes tend to switch in between emo, goth and scene fairly often, usually to get attention. they also pair emo/goth clothes with scene accesories (ex. shoes, earrings, piercings, hair bows [;3], etc., for instance, totally black outfit with rainbow shoes. Thats considered a pride parade and looks freaking retarded.

A lot of people call scene kids "posers". While this is not always the case, there are a lot of poser out there who think they're scene. Some ways to recognise a poser are: If they go from say, a prep to a scene kid over night, as in one day they come in to school wearing skinnys, vans and an illuminous tshirt with the full scene makeup and with the scene haircut (it's probably be in their natural colour) when they had none of these things before, then they're most definitely a poser. ALso, if they keep going on about how they WANT to dye their hair or they WANT to get a piercing but they're not allowed, I mean KEEP saying it, then they're probably posing.
Overall, just keep out of the way of posers, or you'll probably get called a poser too.... Also, they think the stereotype "bitchy" scene kids are cool, so they imitate them a little too well.

The Scene is all about being your self and being confident in your self. Where I live I am one of the few 'scene kids'. And we get stared at for being different. People make fun of us and say cruel but to me it's all worth it because we are different.We just don't blend in and wear what everybody is wearing.And definitely didn't become scene to please people. And neither should you.
Some people automatically think that people in the scene are obnoxious but that's not true. Being scene does not mean you should be overly mean. The only gives people a real reason to hate you and scene kids. And lastly have lots of friends scene or not. If they make you happy and you have fun hanging out it doesn't matter what they are.
