The type of music most scenes listen to is Electronic, emocore, electronic dance, hardcore, and many more. Some bands would be Blood On The Dance Floor, Alesana, BrokenCYDE, Dot Dot Curve, A skylit Drive, and a lot more. Well hope this worked a bit!

first get any straightener of your choice, straighten each layer of your hair individually. Now lift each layer and spray a little hair spray at the roots. Then take a small toothed comb and lift the second or last layer of your hair, tease it as high as you can. Next lightly smooth out the matted parts of the hair (it will slowly flatten as you smooth so go as high as you can before you smooth it out) finally after getting and loose hairs out and fixing add some accessories such as bows, hair clips, bobby pins, tiara etc....make sure to put a final coat of hair spray once its all in! and your done :D

I’m from a place where every girl looks like a clones. Most of them wear osirises with hoodies. Others wear sweats, but me and my close friends stand out with our big hair and eyeliner! We’re crazy and get odd looks at the mall. I live in southwestern Iowa and where I come from there’s not many scene people. I get weird looks and for awhile I let that get me down and even tried looking like the preps, but it was boring so I learned that haters make me famous, so I went out and got my hair cut really choppy then I teased it and wore all my eyeliner..
My typical day: “OMG BAILEY THAT’S A LOT OF EYELINER!!” Me: “Uh no it’s not..” and the person saying that was a prep who was supposed 2 b my friend. She’s not really anymore.
So all in all FUCK THE HATER’S THEY JUST WANNA BE LIKE YOU!! AND I LIKE TYPING IN CAPSSSS!!!!! BAHA=)

people say that scene kids are strange and mean. They never actually have to guts to check us out. People think that being the same is normal and that being different is weird. Just look at Lady gaga, people think shes very odd and weird. Maybe she is, or maybe shes being creative in an attempt to be different, shes my hero to be truthful because she can handle all the critics and still be different. People need to learn that different isn't always weird. You actually need to have a lot of courage to be different because of all the angry glares and discrimination, take it from someone who knows. Scene is just another label like any other stereotype. Sometimes, it's hard to explain labels, me personally I hate labels. I mean anyone can be scene as much as anyone can be preppy, jock, or skater. The best way to explain scene is you basically please yourself with how you are. It really is who YOU choose to be. And it is a commitment, break out the hairspray and those old halloween costumes you wore two years ago, because they are necessary in your transformation to sceneness. Being scene isn't just about the look, because scene girls are often confused with "emo" girls which, emo isn't even a real label... But anyways, dressing scene is basically looking like everyday is halloween for you, hello kitty is your best friend, but you really want to express your own style through your hair, makeup and clothes. Every scene girl has their own signature thing whether it be a color, a way she teases her hair or a pose she does on myspace. Being scene really help you show how confident you really are and it helps you embrace that inner bitch. Haha (:

I’m happy with my life and I know the friends I have are the only friends I would want. Because I don’t want friends that are so shallow they judge people on their appearance.
