being scene doesn't mean your emo. it means that you like to be different form everybody else. you may have your time where people make fun of you because your different but thats only because people are scared of things they don't understand. also, just because your scene doesn't mean you are all depressed all the time. you should always try to live every day like its your last. and even when people hate you, or they turn there back on you, you should always keep a smile and play nice and never let there ridicule get to you.

I've been judged, bullied, and taken advantage of.. a lot. But it doesn't matter what others think of you. What is normal? Scene isn't "normal"... People think those who are "scene" all look the same. That isn't true... I think a person who is scene isn't afraid to be different. They like to be ordinary and like to stick out of the crowd.
I guess I could call myself "scene," only because I like to be different and show my "indivualality." I'm more than slightly sarcastic, extremely random, easlily distracted, I love rainbows and purple...music, drawing, writing, and my friends and are what my life revolves around. Scene is so much more than the hair extensions, the makeup, the clothes, the music. its about feeling. it's about being unique, being yourself, and not being afraid to show it to the entire world. I don't dress like this because of what people say, there will always be people that don't like how you look or your music etc. Don't worry about them. You must wear your cloths without feeling self conscious and worring what people think about it. You musnt let people's words hurt you. Be happy with who you are and enjoy it to the fullest. Well to stand out I would like to tell me my opinion of the scene culture and a little about myself . I was born in March about 15 years ago . I moved around when I was younger to find myself in a tiny little town where I met some of the best friends anyone could have . Along my journey to 15 years I have experimented with things I shouldn't have , done things I've ,and made a name for myself that will follow me . I've always been interested in scene queens but was never fake about any of my pictures or what I say about the lifestyle . I don't believe scene has been "out of trend" because it's not a trend . People who push limits of beauty have always teased their hair and made jaws drp with their shocking make up . I respect this lifestyle and would like to make a "SCENE" with the rest of the girls .

To me, scene means that you don’t like to blend in, you like to make a SCENE and stand out. My way of scene fashion is composed of skinny jeans, band tees, converses or skateboarding shoes, and sometimes a cute little bow in my hair. My scene makeup is composed of the usual, thick and heavy eyeliner, pale foundation, dark eyeshadow (with the occasional bright eyeshadow), and then my volumizing mascara. Sometimes when styling my hair I’ll tease it just a bit, but not all of the time. Some days I wear it down with a bow in it. But I mostly wear it down with no accessories. But it still looks good.
In my area there are some scene kids but not a lot. I try and hang out with people that are scene, rather those that are not. But sometimes I hang out with other people than just scene kids.

Perfect isn't a compliment. Perfect is an insult. Everyday you wake up in a world of flaws. Flaws are what make people, life, hope, love, etc. They make things unique and worth looking at, so why would you want something to be perfect? To me, perfect means you're plain and unnoticable. Everyone notices a flaw, but when you're perfect there's nothing to look at. Everyday people push themselves to their limit trying to become perfect, or make something perfect, and the more they do it the worse they become. Living in a world without flaws would be like floating in nothing but black, because perfect is nothing. I find being called perfect insultive because it means dull, styleless, and nothing. What does being yourself mean? I know I'm not the only one who has struggled at first, trying to find out who I really was. It took me forever to realize that in reality, being yourself isn't following what other people are doing. You find who you are by taking small experiences you have had when you were trying to find out who you were, and putting them all together to make a final picture.
That being said, you're always changing, and becoming different. When's the last time you have met somebody who stayed the same for a long period of time. Everybody discovers new things they find fun, interesting, creative, and add it to their lives, making them a different person from who they were before. People may judge you for it, but thats just because they don't know what its like to be themselves.
I for one, love finding out new things about me. What was already there, and making new space to grow. Being myself,its like making new discoveries everyday. I can wake up in the morning and not know whats around the corner for me.
