HOW TO MAKE YOUR ROOM SCENE!!
1) Decide what color you want your bedroom to be. A lot of scene bedrooms are black, but consider ditching the black and going for cute pastel colors, as scene girls are quite colorful. Light blues, pinks, and creams work well. That way, you are clearly stating you're not a goth. Neon colors work, too. You can either keep it simple with one color, or paint it in many colors. If your parents won’t let you paint your room a different color, you can always cover your walls with posters. Read step two for ideas on posters that you can get. Maybe while you're painting it, you could rearrange the furniture, just for a change!
2) Put up some fun posters on your walls. Express what you love with posters of your favorite bands, cartoon characters, films, etc. Add some stuffed animals. Make it cute!
3) Decorate your bed. Every bedroom needs one, so why shouldn't it be allowed to be scene too? For bedspread (blankets, sheets, etc.), try some cute comforters with bold colors or patters, or anything with cartoons. Plush toys, teddy bears, or pillows of characters such as Hello Kitty, Domo, or Spongebob look perfect, so place a few of those on your bed.
4) Set up your own music place! Have a place in your room where you can keep all of your CDs, your iPod, iPod dock, radio, and stereo. Look at this article for examples of scene music, in case you don't already know.
5) Make your room cozy. You may be trying to make your room look scene, but you want to make your room cozy, too. Throw a few beanbag chairs or comfy and
cute pillows on the floor for chilling with friends or listening to music. Little details such as a fun lamp, a fluffy carpet, or bold curtains make your room both cozy and scene.
6) Keep your room a little messy. It’s not usually considered scene when your room is squeaky clean, however your bedroom should never be dirty or too messy.
7) ENJOY!

•Start by applying an eyeshadow primer to your entire eyelid, then sweep the lightest color in the palette all over your eye.
•Next, apply a medium eyeshadow shade from your lash line to the crease of your eye and blend well.
•Then, use your crease brush to gently apply the darkest to your crease. Again, blend well.

•If desired, dab a light amount of sheer shimmer shadow to your brow bone.
•Draw a thin line with your eyeliner very close to your lashes. For a smokier look, smudge the line, or leave it untouched for a more defined effect.
•For a finishing touch, line the inner rims of you lower eyelid.
•Finally, add two coats of black mascara to really smoke em' out.

Anyone who isn't who they really are is not just a poser, but a letdown. A letdown to family, friends, society, and themselves.
You shouldn't dress other then how you really want to, something that reflects who you are and your personality. Don't just put on some close that you think will impress people. Don't do it because a girl you know does it. No matter who your trying to pass off as, it isn't you so don't try and act like it.
You're much more fun, outgoing, liked, and respected if you are on the outside who you are on the inside.

How to get blonde highlights in black hair.
1 Dye your hair completely black with a rinse color, as opposed to a permanent color. Permanent colors will cause the black to blend with the blond, creating a strange hue. The rinse will slightly come off when adding the blond highlights, creating a more natural color.
2 Comb your hair after the black hair dye rinse is complete. Place a highlight cap on your head. The highlight cap will have small holes in it to pull the hair through.
3 Pull small strands of hair through these holes using a comb. This can be quite tedious, so pull each section of hair slowly through the holes to avoid pulling and pain.
4 Mix the hair bleach according to the instructions on the package. Wear the rubber gloves that come with the kit to avoid getting the bleach on your hands.
5 Leaving the cap on, apply the mild hair bleach to lighten the strands of hair that were pulled through the cap. Leave the bleach on for as long as the directions state.
6 Wash the strands of hair that were just bleached. Shampoo the strands twice and then rinse.
7 Apply the shade of beach blond onto the strips of hair coming through the highlight cap with your brush applicator that came with the highlight kit. Follow the instructions on the box and rinse. Remove the highlight cap and add an after-color conditioner to your hair. Rinse and style your hair as usual.

How to be an African American scene queen :)
Step one. Be your self.
Step Two. Have self confidence, don't listen to what people say always be who you are, you are beautiful and no one can change that.
Step three. Never live up to the stereo type of "ghetto", African Americans' are not "ghetto", we do know how to speak and write proper English.
Step Four. Wear out going colors, make Kandi beads and wear as many as you want, and change your hair different colors if you want to don't just stick to black.
Step Five. Do cat eye make up, wear just eye shadow, whatever it is, do something to attract people to your eyes, because i bet they are beautiful :)
Step Six. Find a wonderful best friend who will support you, be there for you, and will be a scene queen with you every day of the year :)
These are some great steps to take even if you are not African American. In today's world some people don't look at African Americans being "scene" they think that we all come from the "ghetto" and that we have no common since. You should never worry about the color of your skin but in today's world you have to. Until society accepts that no matter what color you are, you can be who you wanna be, ignore the negative comments, and always have positive ones, find people who give you positive feedback. :)

How to do scene hair (: Materials : You will need hairspray, a teasing comb,a straightener and a round brush. Step 1 : Take a shower you filthy animal. :P Step 2: Either towel dry or blow your hair make sure to completely dry it unless you have a wet to dry straightener. Step 3: Section your hair into layers and start straightening, this can be a long draw out process depending on how long and thick your hair is..but be patient because it will all pay off in the end..I promise :D Step 4: Take the top section of hair and begin to tease, if you don't know how to tease it is when you take the teasing comb and move it rapidly up and down towards the base of the hair as you're holding it up. Step 5: Once you have teased your hair make sure to hairspray it so it stays completely fabulous like that for an extended period of time. Step 6: Time for the bangs..this is the most critical step...straighten the bands and use the round brush in order to make them swoosh to the appropriate side for which you have parted them, then hairspray once again..and do any final primping and hairspray once more and you should look fabulous :D ~!

I hate labels. I don't wanna say I gave in, but in a way, I kinda did.
I got called "emo" and "goth" a lot after my grandfather died- cuz I was depressed obviously,
And I like to say I don't care what people think, but I kinda do.
Which is why I decided to change my style. But, I've never been happier with myself and my body :)
I used to cut, I'm not gonna lie, and occaisionally, I still do,
But I'm happy with who I've become.
I've never liked the normal style. Why should I?
So, yeah. Hai der ^_^
Name's Jessica, but my friends call me JessiV or Vengeance, Why?

How To Tease Your Hair
Things You'll Need:
Teasing Comb
Hairspray
Sift Bristle Brush
Hair Clip
Steps:
Step 1: Using a soft bristled hair brush, give your head a thorough brushing until all tangles and knots are gone.
Step 2: Next, take a metal comb or teasing brush and divide hair into two-inch sections. Set the section you are about to tease aside, and clip the rest so it stays out of the way.
Step 3: In one hand, hold the section of hair you are going to work with by the ends. Make sure the hair is straight up in the air so that you can access the area underneath. Using your free hand, take the comb and back-comb your hair in short strokes in the opposite direction from which it grows.
Step 4: Pick up the next section of hair and repeat the process until all of the desired sections of hair have been teased. When you are done, gently smooth hair over with the comb and generously spray your hair with a firm hold hairspray to ensure longer lasting volume.

~How to do “B&G” Eye shadow.
I started doing this about 5 years ago, mainly because I enjoy standing out in a crowd. Instead of doing the normal ‘same color on each eyelid‘, type of eye shadow, I came up with this: Basically this look is based off the idea “Blue is for Boys, Pink is for Girls.” It’s a simple look but can be VERY eye catching since it’s not like every day you see someone walking around with 2 different shades of eye shadow. I’ll tell you how to achieve this look. LET’S BEGIN SHALL WE? ;]
*Note- this will probably take you about 10-20 minutes. Truly depends how good you are with eye make up!
Things you need: A good Primer, Dark Blue Eye Shadow, Sky Blue Eye Shadow, Fuchsia Eye Shadow, Pink Eye Shadow, 4 Eye Shadow Brushes/Applicators (can use the same one but multiple disposable ones are easier to manage with), Black Mascara, Black Eyeliner, Glitter (optional), Paper Towel
1. Well of course lay everything out in front of you. Lol. It’s good to be organized before you do anything.
2. Apply some primer to both of your eyes.
3. Fold a paper towel about 4-6 times.
4. Take your brush/applicator && rub it into the dark blue eye shadow. Apply to your right eyelid. As you’re applying it, press the paper towel under your eye with your free hand so it can catch any extra ‘shadow dust’ that flies off.
5. Take another brush/applicator && rub it in some sky blue eye shadow. Apply lightly over the dark blue eye shadow. The different blue tints will really pop out!
6. Take your third brush/applicator && rub it in some fuchsia eye shadow. Apply to your left eye lid. *Don’t forget your paper towel!
7. Take your fourth brush/applicator && rub it in some pink eye shadow. Apply it over your fuchsia eye shadow gently. Surprisngly they make a good pairing.
8. Outline your entire eye (yes, top && bottom) with black eyeliner. I suggest let the top be a very thin line and let the bottom be a very thick line.
9. Then apply some black mascara to your top eye lashes. (Bottom eyelashes are optional)
10. Now to make this look REALLY stand out, take some blue glitter and press it on to your right eye gently && take some pink glitter && press it on to your left eye gently.
YOU OFFICALLY HAVE THE B&G EYESHADOW LOOK! :D

How To Glue In Extensions
Materials Needed:

5 top thing to be scene :D
1: Know what you're expected to be. The genuine scene girl is often described by society to be very bold, over confident, and at times random. Although you could aim to be the cute, shy scene girl.
2: Be really nice to everyone you meet. Scene girls often come off as rude teens. Most people would be pleasantly surprised if a scene kid came up to them and was super nice, because most people immediately think that Scene kids are going to be arrogant and full of themselves because of the stereotype.People may confuse you to be Emo but that's okay just correct them. Be sure you are very peppy sweet and happy. Don't act like you hate everything. Hating everything is Goth and Emo.
3: Become active on social-networking websites.
Add as many people as you can on MySpace, but save your Facebook for people that you know personally. After that, then try branching out to other sites that tend to be "scene-popular", such as Twitter, Stickam, thescenekidz.grouply.com, Buzznet, formspring.me, and Model Mayhem.
4: Dress like a scene girl. Clothes are very important, and you must dress the part in order to be successful in this venture.
Wear flats like ballet shoes and even metallic/designer flats. Tutu like skirts are a must. Slip-on Vans are very popular among scene kids, as well as most other Vans. (Warning-wearing Vans too much if you aren't a skater could result in you being called a poser.) You could also try some checkered or colorful shoe laces.
o Skinny jeans. Dark ones such as black and torn are good, but things like bright neon colors, leopard, zebra or checkered are good too.
o Tight fitting, graphic tees are a must! You have to have at least 3 of these. Anything with cute monsters, fun sayings or just cool stuff works. Don't buy just black! Scene is a mix of black and neon colors. Wear any pattern you want. Animal print, checkers, plaid, stripes - anything that describes your personality.
Wear merchandise from places like Hello Kitty, Gloomy Bear, Care Bears, Elmo, etc. Brand tees are a must. Colorful skinny jeans, tutus, jean skirts, and Vans and Converse are awesome. Wear cool leggings with bold colors or stripes. Leg warmers too.
Wear bright random t-shirts with funky designs on them. Or you could go with the plain bold colour like red. Some very scene designs are: Alice in Wonderland, Stars, Hearts, Lightning, Skulls, Bats, Anything to do with bands or Childish stuff like ice creams and Lolly Pops.
o Cartoon characters are very popular. Pokemon, Power Rangers, Keroppi, and especially Hello Kitty are big parts of Scene style. Printed T-shirts with cartoon characters or cute pictures on them are a must.
o Get a gray hoodie, and wear it all the time with your hood up.
o Pyramid stud belts, and classic white belts are good.
o Huge sunglasses are a must, and the bigger the better. The newest edition to the scene girls sunnies are the old fashioned "cop" style sunnies (Ray-Ban Aviators). Horn-rimmed glasses with no lenses are super-popular in the Scene world, and they look super cute too!
o Over-sized pearl necklaces or other long necklaces are a must. There are a number of ways you can wear them that will make you look like a mature young person.o
Remember all those kiddish bracelets that you had when you were five? It's time to dig them out from under your bed. Don't wear too may though - you want people to see your arms.
5: Get piercings if you like. They are automatically considered scene. So go for it as piercings are very popular among the scene kids.
o Septum, Monroe, Snakebites, Spiderbites, Angelbites and Browbreakers are acceptable piercings; since your ears will probably be hidden under your voluminous hair you can either wear big earrings or none at all. You can try pearl earrings for a dash of preppy style. Gauges are also popular among scene girls.

Being "Scene" Is Being Yourself.
You dont have to have teased hair, hair extensions, caked on makeup, etc. to be scene. Be original; Be who you are, thats what makes you different; Thats what makes you scene.[:

The Scene Queen Attitude:
The right attitude is the key to being a Scene Queen. You have to stand out from everyone else and let them know you are the Queen there. If you don't agree with what people are saying, SPEAK UP! Don't be shy to let people know your there and don't let them walk all over you by trashing you down, FIGHT BACK! After all, Queens don't take no for an answer and they DEMAND obedience.
Examples:
-If they call you "Medusa" because of your hair; laugh at theirs for being plain and boring and not having any artistic sense of fashion.
-If they call you a clown because of your make-up; tell them at least YOU can get a hot guy.
-If they judge you on your outfits; at least you can afford $30 skinny jeans from Hot Topic in which you can actually FIT it.
You and your friends should be the spotlight at school, crawling with guys around, BUT with your Scene King by your side. Your attitude means everything on how you treat people and yourself. Have respect for your friends, family, and people who respect you. Avoid being around too many gangsters, preps (cheerleaders), or jocks. Stick mostly with emo, scene, goth, punk, straight edge, and skater or they'll think your just a poser with extensions.
That's the Scene Queen Rule!

Give Yourself Colorful “Extensions”
Ingredients: Hydrogen Peroxide [optional], 2 packets of Kool-Aid [the color choice is up to you], plastic wrap, two rubber bands, and some gloves.
1. If you have black hair like me… you may want to use some hydrogen peroxide [3%] before you “dye” your hair.
a. For girls/guys with darker hair. Use the hydrogen peroxide [you can usually find it in your bathroom cupboards…you know the stuff your mommy put on your owies when you were little ^_^… if not just head to the store and buy some! Not expensive] Put the hydrogen peroxide in a dark spray bottle. [do NOT mix it with water] Spray the area you want to lighten and comb it through. Let it dry, if it has shown no result, don’t get discouraged just keep doing that until your hair turns a lighter color
2. Alright so you have your hair ready. First, mix the Kool-Aid together with some conditioner and maybe a little bit of water. Stir until the “paste” is not lumpy >. 3. Grab the hair you want to dye and grab a finger full of the Kool-Aid paste and disperse it throughout the hair. You want to make sure that the hair is completely saturated in the Kool-Aid.
4. Take some plastic wrap and wrap your hair in it so the Kool-Aid paste won’t get all over you or anything else. Secure it at the top with a rubber band and secure it at the bottom with another rubberband.
5. Let it sit overnight, if you want to, or let it sit for 30 minutes. [Time varies on how bright you want your hair to look]
6. In the morning, or after your 30 minutes are up, wash your hair with shampoo and conditioner, and let dry!
7. Continue with the steps until you have the desired hair color you want.
