I mean when ou transform into a "Scene" kid people will talk and give you dirty looks. on't let that stop you from expressing yourself though. This is you showing you're own style and your intrest through fashion. Personally, if your "Friends" can't acet the change and who you are, they weren't your real friends in the first place.Scene kids can be shy or outgoing, it's just your choice about your personality. When you walk into a room and get the angry glares keep your head high and be confident, those people glaring are just jealous that you're not a followe but a leader.

Being scene is about more than just the style, it's also about being out of the ordinary and freedom of expression. I've probably been scene since 7th grade, when I'm not I feel less like myself kinda drab and empty. I've kinda faded in and out in the amount, with out realizing it. When I was with the last guy I was going out with I was less, I wasn't really myself and I didn't realize it until it was over and in the end I was happier. So be yourself and don't let others influence you when you are yourself you are happier and more comfortable.. In the scene style you don't have to have a certain look everyone’s different so don't be afraid to try something new. You have the freedom to be creative and who knows you might even start a new trend. There's gonna be haters where ever you go but you'll also get a lot of compliments it depends on the person and how vast of a mind they have. I've been called a lot of things, my friend Becca calls me “the cute little emo kid” I've also been called weird and someone told me I dressed like a hoe, sometimes it hurts but most of the time I choose not to care unless it's coming from someone important to me. But I love who I am and I don't wanna look/be like everyone else. The way I look at it if they don't except you for who you are then they just don’t understand or they're not worth it. Brush it off and move on (: I have a lot of great friends that I love, and with the rest of my school for the people who know me I'm considered more funky than freak. Sooo be scene if you want to but only do it for yourself It's and a good way to show your true colors. Be nice but also be prepared for standing up for yourself, no one likes getting stepped on.

Scene isn't a label. Scene isn't a "breed" of people. Scene is a style; a style that allows you to express yourself, be confident, and have fun. Being scene often comes with haters, false assumptions, and people trying to fit you into their mold of "scene". You may hear that scene kids are stuck up, or that scene kids have huge egos. It's true some do, but not all. Don't some preps and indies have egos too? You may also hear that scene kids are dumb and don't know things such as the difference between their, they're, and there. That stereotype is also false. Once again, scene is a style, not a lifestyle. Being scene isn't just about the hair, the makeup, and the fashion. It's also about having the will to stand out, not fit the mold people make for you, and being who you want to be how you want to be how you want to be it. No one can tell you how to be scene. Being scene isn't about what music you listen to, hair, or how tight your skinny jeans are. It isn't about being skinny or pale. Being scene is about MAKING a scene. Being known as a friendly, confident yet approachable person. Not being conceited and just staying true to yourself. We all take one style and make it our own, make it a scene style. You might be called a poser, fake, or ugly because of how you look. But true scene royalty won't care. Because you are still YOU and are ready to make a scene, and be known as the legit kid you are. Remember: by making a scene and have people talk their sh*t will only make you famous. No matter where you are, people will criticize you. There will always be someone who doesn't like you; it's impossible to please everyone. You need to learn to embrace your flaws. It's important to know who you are and know what you want. Remember, most people hate because they're jealous or hating makes them feel powerful.Stand out to be confident. Don't ever become scene just to please your peers. Also if you are going to be a scene kid in a place where they are extremely rare, be prepared for many angry glares and discrimination you will get form other people. However, be careful not to become overconfident. Nobody wants to interact with someone who puts them down or acts like a jerk, but don't let people walk all over you either. You need to know the right balance, you absolutely should be nice. People say scene kids are gorgeous. In my opinion I think it is amazing how they are tough but not overcritical. I think most people think is the exact same thing as emo. Concluding that most people think they are depressed and sad.

Be unique. How? By being yourself. What does it mean to be Scene? The is no real definition. Everyone vuews it in there own way. And thats ok. Its not just a "style" or a "fad". And its not just a bunch of people who dress alike, and like the same things. Being scene is different to everyone. You just need to be yourself. Be an individual. Make yourself stand out from everyone else. And no, that's not a bad thing. Being unique is never a bad thing. As long as you are true to yourself, and your always your own person, you are unique.
