Also if you are going to be a scene kid in a place where they are extremely rare, be prepared for the many angry glares and discrimination you will get from other people. It's our looks. God created it. And God's creation are always beautiful. But that doesn't meant we don't have to put make-ups. We could use a little make-ups. Try using some Natural's color. People always judge you on apperance first and personality later. Espically with scene kids, and even more so with more curvy scene girls. Yes I'm scene and no I'm not a skinny little girl with no boobs I love myself the way I am and I'm not changing for anyone. Around my town there are no other scene kids at all but over time you start to think differently, that it doesn't matter what others think of you but how you think of yourself. And if the only reason that you are scene or want to be scene is to fit in and make friends, then you should probably rethink things a little more. Be prepared to be made fun of where ever you go some one will always be talking behind your back, but you can't let it get to you. Just think of what you like about yourself and everything will fall naturaly. No mater what don't change to make some one else happy, change because it makes you happy.

They think we exaggerate our hair color, our clothes, our way or talking, and who we hang out with only for other to look at us, to envy who we are. This is not our purpose. My view of why we dye our hair 5 different colors every month, wear lime green tutus in 45 degree weather, and break our ear drums while playing our music at the loudest volume possible is this; we wish to give you a part of us as a person. People are so easily brought into this shape, the way you HAVE to be to be friends with this person, or to be a part of that group. Being part of the scene simply means to differ from the others, to stand out, to be the hot pink dress in a room full of black ones. If you break away from the box of who people push you to be, you are scene, and our purpose is not to seek attention, but to push attention away from who people want you to be. And to let you be who you want.

Today I am going to write about something really important. Weight issues. Many girls experience weight issues because they feel like they aren't skinny enough. Truth is, every weight is perfect. Whether you weigh 200 pounds or 90, you are you. There is never any reason to turn to a dangerous method of weight loss like anorexia or bulimia. If you want to lose weight, do it the healthy way. Always eat right and exercise if you want to lose weight. But I will say, you are beautiful; no matter what you look like. The person on the inside is what is the most beautiful thing about you. Also, you don't need to be a size two to be a scene queen. I used to cry because I was born with the bone structure of an athlete, and I didn't look like the other famous scene queens. But now, I realized that, that is not what being a scene queen is about. It's about confidence, self love, and expression. Nowhere does it say you have to be as skinny as Lexi Bee to be a drop dead gorgeous scene queen. So embrace who you are, keep rockin, and be your true, awesome, scene self.

Everyone should act as their own indivdual person. It shouln't matter how anyone eles dresses, just keep your style fresh and always make sure it's something YOU like. Don't worry about what haters say, 99.9% of the time they are just jealous! :) It's also EXTREMLY important to make friends!!! I know there are a lot of people in the world who you'll never want to meet, but you have to take the chance of getting out there because a lot of them can help you out in life. If you seem to stand out in a crowd or be getting stared at alot just take it as a compliment! It's better to be critisized for something you love then be something that you aren't!
